StarHub Now Offers The Most Scaleable Range of Corporate Broadband Services in Singapore
WebSpeed ADSL Packages Also Enhanced With Either S$1 High-Spec Desktop Computer OR Complete S$1 Wireless LAN Kit
Singapore, 15 November 2001 -- StarHub, Singapore’s innovative info-communications provider, today offers the most scaleable range of corporate broadband programmes on the island. StarHub’s WebSpeed ADSL, which comes in 256K, 512K and 1M packages, are further enhanced by either a S$1 desktop computer or a S$1 complete wireless LAN kit offer.
In order to participate in the programme, business customers are required to sign up for a two-year WebSpeed broadband monthly subscription which ranges between S$188.00 to S$1,230.00 per month, depending on the package selected. They will then be able to choose from a whole suite of S$1 offerings (see Editor’s Note).

"As a result of feedback from SMEs, we have made our S$1 business offerings even more attractive by introducing PCs with higher technical specifications as well as introducing complete wireless LAN kits as an alternative." Added Mr Tan.
StarHub’s corporate ADSL solution, WebSpeed offers unlimited broadband Internet access at an affordable price. WebSpeed provides the connectivity platform for corporate applications, with speeds up to 20 times faster than analogue connections. StarHub WebSpeed’s service quality is achieved by using high quality, category five enhanced cables instead of ordinary old phone lines. The fibre-optic cable is extended into the building and the access equipment will reside at the base of the building. The USB modem and the ADSL router is leased free to the customer and StarHub will manage and maintain both equipment.
