Just SMS to StarHub, and you will get what you want
Singapore, 13 July 2000 -- Consumers can now download ‘cool’ ring tones and funky icons when they sign up for StarHub mobile services. To get this service, all you need is a StarHub mobile subscription and a selected Nokia mobile phone. The phone models include 3210, 6150, 7110, 8210 & 8850.
Unlike the usual practice of downloading this service from the website, StarHub customers can select the ring tone or icon/logo of their choice to be downloaded to the selected Nokia phones by sending a Short Messaging Services (SMS) message to StarHub with the appropriate keywords. At present, there are no registration, subscription and download fees, except for a five cents charge for sending the SMS. Essentially, this means that StarHub customers can hear the ring tones and view the icons/logos at their convenience and without any hassle.

StarHub customers will be able to hear and see the different categories of ring tones like Pop, Rock, Classical and Movie themes, and the different categories of icons/logos respectively at the StarHub website (https//www.starhub.com) from next week. New and refreshing ring tones and icons/logos will be added regularly.
