Terms & Conditions - Mobile Data Plans


  1. Customer can subscribe to a MaxMobile Lite, MaxMobile Value or MaxMobile Premium as a Value-Added Service (ie. on top of a StarHub Mobile postpaid plan); or MaxMobile Basic, MaxMobile SurfLite, MaxMobile Ultimate or MaxMobile Elite as a datapack, (ie. without voice plan).
  2. There is a one-time registration fee of $10.70 (incl. GST) for subscribing to any of the data plans.
  3. The subscription charges will be billed on a monthly basis and charged to the customers' StarHub Mobile bills.
  4. StarHub Mobile postpaid customers can change their data plan subscription if their accounts are not suspended, blacklisted or with outstanding balances.
  5. The promotion to enjoy 50% discount to the charges for MaxMobile Ultimate/Elite data plan is valid till such date as determined by StarHub. This promotion is applicable for all postpaid residential MaxOnline customers who are also StarHub Mobile prepaid customers, and share the same billing address for the MaxOnline and StarHub Mobile services. This promotion is not applicable to MaxOnline customers who are subscribe to commercial or bulk master packages.
  6. StarHub’s Hub Club discount shall not be used in conjunction with any discount, promotional offer or similar scheme as set out herein, unless otherwise permitted by StarHub in its absolute discretion.
  7. Any change in data plans may result in a temporary disruption of service and/or loss of data and StarHub shall not be liable for any liability arising from or in connection with such service disruption or loss of data.
  8. The maximum cap for charges at $96.14 per month for MaxMobile Lite and $36.38 per month for MaxMobile Value, MaxMobile Premium & MaxMobile Basic data plans includes the monthly charges and applies only to local data traffic. The customer will be charged at the prevailing rates for data traffic used outside of Singapore.
  9. Unlimited usage for MaxMobile SurfLite, MaxMobile Ultimate and MaxMobile Elite data plans applies only to local data traffic. The customer will be charged at the prevailing rates for data traffic used outside of Singapore.
  10. StarHub reserves the right to terminate any MaxMobile promotion at any time without further notice. No customer will be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such termination.
  11. StarHub’s determination shall be final in any dispute concerning the MaxMobile promotion between StarHub and the customer.
  12. StarHub’s General Terms & Conditions for Info-communications services and Service Specific Terms & Conditions for Mobile and Mobile Data services will apply to this promotion. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of the Service Specific Terms & Conditions and any provision of the General Terms & Conditions, such conflict or inconsistency will be resolved in a manner most favourable to StarHub. However, if such conflict or inconsistency cannot be so resolved, the provisions of the Service Specific Terms & Conditions will prevail over the provisions of these General Terms & Conditions.
  13. StarHub reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions (including pricing) at its discretion without prior notice. Use of StarHub services will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and the amendments thereof.
