Caller Number Display gives you the caller ID of the person who is calling you before you pick up the phone. The phone number of an incoming caller is displayed on your phone (which must have caller ID display) or external caller ID display unit.

With the number displayed on your phone, you can decide if you want to pick up the call now or use the number display to call back later.
