Digital Voice Home Promotions for MaxOnline/MaxInfinity Customers
Free Unlimited Local Outgoing Calls Promotion
- What is the free unlimited local outgoing calls promotion about?
To give even more value to our Digital Voice Home customers, all outgoing local call charges made from the Digital Voice Home line will be waived until 30 June 2013, subject to the following exclusions:
- IDD calls are chargeable.
- Calls made to certain numbers are chargeable. Please refer to the Exclusion List for the list of numbers that are chargeable. StarHub reserves the right to amend this Exclusion List from time to time.
- What is the promotional period of the Free Unlimited Local Outgoing Calls Promotion?
The promotion is valid until 30 June 2013.
- Who is eligible for this promotion?
All new and existing Digital Voice Home customers will be eligible for the Free Unlimited Local Outgoing Calls Promotion, unless otherwise notified by StarHub.
- Will I be able to enjoy free incoming calls on the Digital Voice Home service, just like what StarHub Mobile customers get to enjoy?
There are no charges for incoming calls on Digital Voice Home service.
- Will I be able to enjoy free unlimited local outgoing calls on all local numbers?
You will enjoy free unlimited outgoing calls on all local numbers, except for premium rated numbers such as “1900” and the numbers listed in our Exclusion List.

- Calls made to numbers in the Exclusion List will be charged base on prevailing rate of the respective service provider.
- StarHub reserves the right to amend this Exclusion List at any time and without prior notice.
- The local calls charges for Directory Enquiry calls will be waived by the Free outgoing call promotion.
- Service Charge includes event charges where applicable.
- Dial-up is not a supported usage on the Digital Voice Home Service. Customers are recommended to upgrade to MaxOnline Service.
Free 3 Months Value Bundle Promotion
- What is the Free 3 Months Value Bundle Promotion?
To enhance the value for Digital Voice Home, all new sign-ups for Digital Voice Home will be able to enjoy free subscription to the Value Bundle for the first 3 months.
- Who is eligible for the Free 3 Months Value Bundle Promotion?
All new sign-ups for Digital Voice Home are eligible for the free 3 Months Value Bundle Promotion.
- What is the promotional period of the Free 3 months Value Bundle Promotion?
The Promotion will continue until such date as StarHub may determine. We will display the end-date of the Promotion on the StarHub website.
- Can customers opt-out for the Free 3 months Value Bundle Promotion?
Yes, customers can choose not to sign-up for this Promotion.
- What happens after the first 3 months?
After the first 3 months, you will be charged for the Value Bundle at a monthly subscription fee of $4.82.
- What do I need to do if I do not want to subscribe to Value Bundle after the first 3 months?
If you do not wish to continue your subscription to Value Bundle after the first 3 months, you will need to contact StarHub Customer Service to terminate your subscription of Value Bundle, otherwise you will be charged for Value Bundle at a monthly subscription fee of $4.82.
Caller Number Display Promotion
- What are the requirements to enjoy the Caller Number Display Promotion?
You must sign-up for a new Digital Voice Home line and be subscribed to Caller Number Display continuously for 12 months.
- I am an existing Digital Voice Home customer. Can I enjoy the Caller Number Display Promotion?
No, the promotion is only applicable to new Digital Voice Home subscriptions.
- What is the promotional period of the Caller Number Display Promotion?
Promotion will continue until such date as StarHub may determine. We will display the end-date of the Promotion on our website.
- Can customers opt out of the Caller Number Display Promotion?
Yes, customers can choose not to sign-up for this promotion.
- What happens after the 12 months free subscription period?
After the 12 months, you will be charged for the value-added service at the prevailing monthly subscription rate.
- What do I need to do if I do not want to continue subscribing to the value-added service after the 12 months free subscription period?
If you do not wish to continue your subscription to the value-added service, you will need to contact StarHub Customer Service to terminate your subscription, otherwise you will be charged for the value-added service at the prevailing monthly subscription rate.
- Can I change to another free value-added service within the 12 months free subscription period?
No, you will need to be subscribed to the value-added service continuously for 12 months.
- I am taking up 2 new Digital Voice Home lines. Can I opt to pay for Caller Number Display under one line and enjoy the free value-added service on the other line?
No, both the Caller Number Display and free value-added service are required to be provisioned on the same line.
- Can I sign up for Caller Number Display first and select the free value-added service later?
No, the promotion is only available to customers at the time of sign-up to the Digital Voice Home Service. Thus, the free value-added service has to be chosen at the point of sign-up.
- I am signing up for 2 new Digital Voice Home lines. Am I eligible to enjoy the Caller Number Display Promotion for both lines?
If you sign-up for Caller Number Display for both lines, you will be able to enjoy the promotion for both lines.
- What happens if I terminate my Caller Number Display during the 12-month period? Is there any penalty?
There are no penalty fees for terminating Caller Number Display. However, you will no longer enjoy the free subscription to the selected value-added service and will have to start paying for it based on the prevailing monthly subscription rates. This is because 12 months continuous subscription to Caller Number Display is required to enjoy the promotion.
- Can I choose any of the value-added services that are not in the list instead?
No, the 12 month free subscription is only applicable to the value-added services listed under the promotion. You may wish to subscribe to the other services at the prevailing monthly subscription rates instead.
- If I sign up for Private Number Listing and Voicemail which are currently not listed under the promotion, can I enjoy the 12 months free subscription to one of these two services instead?
No, the promotion is not applicable to these services. You may sign up for the Free 3 Months Value Bundle Promotion instead to enjoy 3 months free subscription to Voicemail and subscribe to Private Number Listing at the prevailing monthly subscription rate instead.
MaxOnline/MaxInfinity/StarHub TV Customers - General
- What do MaxOnline, MaxInfinity and StarHub TV customers enjoy when they sign up for a new Digital Voice Home service?
All MaxOnline/MaxInfinity/StarHub TV customers will enjoy free monthly subscription of Digital Voice Home service till 31 July 2012 with free unlimited local outgoing calls and free Number Retention till 30 June 2013. They can also opt for either (i) free 3 months Value Bundle (worth $4.82 monthly); or (ii) sign-up for 12 months Caller Number Display at $2.14 per month and enjoy free 12 months subscription for any one of the following Value-added Services: Caller Number Non-Display, Call Waiting, Call Divert Plus or Incoming Call Barring.
In addition, they will also enjoy waiver of the $10.70 activation fee for any Value-Added Service (except Number Retention).
Note:
- MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV service must be active and should not be under dunning.
- MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers must maintain their respective MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV subscription to enjoy free Digital Voice subscription.
- Customers are required to purchase or possess a Voice-enabled Cable Modem (VeCM)/Wireless Integrated Access Device (IAD) in order to enjoy Digital Voice Home service.
- What is this free Digital Voice Home subscription?
The free Digital Voice Home subscription is available to all MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers except for customers who are already subscribed to an existing Digital Voice Home contract. Each customer is entitled to one complimentary Digital Voice Home service per service address (amounting to a waiver of the monthly subscription fee of $10.49), regardless of the number of MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV services subscribed.
- What is the promotional period of the free Digital Voice Home subscription for MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers?
The promotion is valid until 31 July 2012.
- Who is eligible for this free Digital Voice Home subscription offer?
All new and existing MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV monthly access plan customers who are currently not on any Digital Voice Home service contract will be eligible, unless otherwise notified by StarHub.
Note: Customers on MaxOnline FlexiSurf, existing Digital Voice Home contracts or BRN customers, are not eligible for this offer
- What is the free Number Retention promotion for MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers?
The free Number Retention promotion is applicable to all MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers who sign-up for their free new Digital Voice Home line. They will be able to enjoy the free Number Retention service till 30 June 2013.
- What is the promotional period of the free Number Retention promotion for MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV customers?
The promotion is valid until 30 June 2013.
MaxOnline/MaxInfinity Customers on NEW Digital Voice Home Service
- I am currently subscribed to one MaxOnline/MaxInfinity/StarHub TV service. How many free Digital Voice Home service(s) can I enjoy?
Each customer is only eligible for one complimentary Digital Voice Home service per service address (amounting to a waiver of the monthly subscription fee of $10.49), regardless of the number of MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV services subscribed to.
- Can I subscribe to a new MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV and Digital Voice Home subscription at the same time and start enjoying both services immediately? Where can I sign up for both services?
If you require installation for both the MaxOnline and Digital Voice Home Services, we can arrange for our technician to deliver and install the Voice-enabled Cable Modem (VeCM) or Wireless Integrated Access Device (IAD) at your premises 5 working days after your application, subject to installation charges. You will be able to start using both services immediately.
If you have purchased your typed-approved VeCM/Wireless IAD for use on both services and intend to install the equipment on your own, the Digital Voice Home service will be activated approximately 3-5 working days from the date of application. MaxOnline and/or StarHub TV access will be activated 24hrs after your purchase.
For installation for both MaxInfinity and Digital Voice Home Services, we can arrange for our technician to deliver and install the Wireless Home Gateway at your premises 8 working days after your application, subject to installation charges. You will be able to start using both services immediately. No self-installation is currently available for MaxInfinity service.
You can sign up for MaxOnline, MaxInfinity, StarHub TV and Digital Voice Home through our sales hotline at 1630, any StarHub Shop, or via our Direct Sales personnel and Tele-Sales personnel. Please note that StarHub Exclusive Partners and MaxOnline and StarHub TV Preferred Partners do not handle Digital Voice Home applications.
- Can I also enjoy free Number Retention for my free Digital Voice Home service?
Yes, you can also enjoy free Number Retention till 30 June 2013.
- I am currently a StarHub TV customer. I would like to sign up to MaxOnline or MaxInfinity and Digital Voice Home service and would like to have someone install the service for me, what is the installation fee?
The installation fee is S$53.50 per hardware installed. The installation fee for the Digital Voice Home service will be waived when:
- The MaxOnline promotion you have signed up to comes with free installation;
- You are installing the Digital Voice service at the same time as the MaxOnline service;
- You have selected the free installation Hubber bonus; or
- The MaxInfinity promotion you have signed up to comes with free installation.
MaxOnline/MaxInfinity Customers on EXISTING Digital Voice Home Service
- I am a MaxOnline/MaxInfinity and StarHub TV customer currently subscribed to two Digital Voice Home services. Will I be eligible for free Digital Voice Home subscription for both Digital Voice Home services?
If you are currently already enjoying more than one complimentary Digital Voice Home subscriptions, you will be able to enjoy the free subscription till 31 December 2011. Thereafter, you will only be eligible for one complimentary Digital Voice Home service per service address (amounting to a waiver of the monthly subscription fee of $10.49), regardless of the number of MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV services subscribed to.
- If my MaxOnline/MaxInfinity/StarHub TV and Digital Voice Home service are registered under same service address, can I enjoy the Free Digital Voice Home Promotion?
Each Customer is only eligible for one complimentary Digital Voice Home service per service address (amounting to a waiver of the monthly subscription fee of $10.49), regardless of the number of MaxOnline, MaxInfinity or StarHub TV services subscribed to.
- I am currently a MaxOnline/MaxInfinity/StarHub TV customer with Digital Voice Home tied to a Digital Voice Home contract. Will I be able to enjoy the free Digital Voice Home service and Free Unlimited Local Outgoing Calls Promotion for my Digital Voice Home subscription? What will happen to the contract period?
You will not be able to enjoy free Digital Voice Home service. The monthly subscription of $10.49 is still applicable. However, you will be able to enjoy free unlimited local outgoing calls on your Digital Voice Home line.
You will need to serve the contract period of your Digital Voice Home service before you can enjoy free subscription to the Digital Voice Home service.
