Subscribing to Smart TV™ Value-Added Service

1.    Plug in one end of the USB cable to the Digital Video Storage Device and connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port at the back of the HD Interactive set-top box.

Important:
Only one Digital Video Storage Device should be connected to your HD Interactive set-top box at any time.

2.    Power on the HD Interactive set-top box and ensure the indicator on the Digital Video Storage Device is lit.

3.    Power on your TV to start subscribing to Smart TV™ value added service.

Important:
Please restart your HD Interactive set-top box if you can’t see the on-screen purchase prompt.

4.     Press the ‘BLUE’ button to request for subscription to Smart TV™ value added service. If you do not wish to subscribe to Smart TV™ value added service, press ‘OK’ button to exit the menu

5.    Press the ‘BLUE’ button to confirm your subscription

Optimizing Digital Video Storage Device

1.    You will be required to configure the Digital Video Storage Device to your HD Interactive set-top box before
    you can start enjoying the Smart TV™ feature on your HD Interactive set-top box.

Important:
During the configuration process, all contents in the Digital Video Storage Device will be deleted.

2.    Press ‘YES’ to configure the Digital Video Storage Device. If you do not wish to configure your Digital Video Storage Device, press ‘NO’

3.    Press ‘YES’ to acknowledge that configuration of Digital Video Storage Device will delete all content. If you do not wish to proceed with the configuration, press ‘NO’



Start Using Smart TV™ Value-Added Service

Important:
Smart TV™ value added service is not available when the Digital Video Storage Device is disconnected.

1.    Start using Smart TV™ feature

2.    Press ‘YES’ to enable Smart TV™ menu. If you do not wish to enable Smart TV™ menu, press ‘NO’

3.    You may view Smart TV™ menu by pressing ‘SMART TV’ on your remote control.


Removing Digital Video Storage Device from HD Interactive set-top box

Important:
Improper removal of Digital Video Storage Device from your HD Interactive set-top box may cause file corruption.

1.    Go to Smart TV™ and select ‘Safely remove HDD’

2.    Press ‘YES’ to remove Digital Video Storage Device. If you do not wish to remove Digital Video Storage
    Device, press ‘NO’
