The Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) access must be enabled in your Gmail account to allow integration with your BlackBerry® account.
To enable POP access in your Gmail account,

1. Log into your Gmail account.
2. In the top right navigation bar, click Settings. The Mail Settings window appears.
3. Click the Forwarding and POP tab.
4. In the POP Download section, click Configuration Instructions. The Configure POP Access window appears.
5. Complete the on-screen instructions.
