Home Zone
- Home Zone VAS is only available for subscription if you have an
existing subscription of at least one mobile line subscription and one
MaxOnline subscription. The mobile line must be one of the 3G mobile
voice plans, excluding SharePlus dependent plans, MaxMobile plans &
BlackBerry Data Pack plans. The MaxOnline service must minimally be a
MaxOnline Express/Express Plus Service. The MaxOnline subscription must
have the same service address as the mobile subscription.
- Home Zone VAS enables free unlimited local outgoing voice/video/SMS
calls. The Home Zone subscriber can include up to 3 other StarHub
Mobile post-paid (3G voice plan) subscribers to enjoy the same benefits.
- The Home Zone VAS requires a minimum subscription period of 3 months.
If you fail to meet the minimum subscription period, an Early
Termination Charge of $32.10 (inclusive of GST) applies.
- The duration of Home Zone service will commerce on:
- the date of successful on-site installation of the Home Zone Equipment
by us, if you request us to install the equipment (installation fee
applicable), or
- the date of collection of the Home Zone Equipment, if you self-install the equipment.
- Each mobile line is only allowed to sign up for one Home Zone VAS and
we reserve the right to decline acceptance of your application at our
discretion.
- We reserve the right to reject any applications of Home Zone VAS. In
such cases, any usage that may be incurred on the Home Zone will be
chargeable.
- Home Zone Equipment is for personal use and not for commercial use
(whether for profit or otherwise). We reserve the right to immediately
recall back the Home Zone service, inclusive but not limited to
suspension and termination of all related services, as well as imposing
all corresponding charges, if you are found using the Home Zone
Equipment for commercial use (whether for profit or otherwise).
- For any request for suspension or termination of the mobile line, Home
Zone VAS will be suspended as well. Home Zone Equipment will need to be
returned to us within 7 working days from your request of
suspension/termination, or a Lost of Equipment Charge of $369.15
(inclusive of GST) will be imposed.
- For termination of the Home Zone VAS, Home Zone Equipment has to be returned to StarHub first.
- Termination of your mobile line will result in the termination of the
Home Zone VAS and the Home Zone equipment to be returned to StarHub Ltd.
- For termination/suspension of MaxOnline, Home Zone service will be
affected. In this case, termination of Home Zone VAS is your sole
responsibility. We will continue to bill you until you return the Home
Zone Equipment to terminate the Home Zone service.
- You must keep the Home Zone Equipment in a suitable place and
appropriate conditions for the equipment, including any necessary
electrical power supply. You must also use and maintain the Home Zone
Equipment in good working condition (fair wear & tear excepted) in
accordance with the guidelines, instructions or specifications given to
you.
- You must ensure that the Home Zone Equipment shall at all times remain in your custody at the service address.
- You are solely responsible for the Home Zone Equipment and must not
modify, tamper or in any way interfere with, nor allow anyone else
(other than a person authorised by us) to do so. You will not change
the serial number or equipment identifier of the Home Zone Equipment
without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to suspend or
terminate your Service if we determine, in our absolute discretion,
that you have tampered with the Home Zone Equipment.
- We reserve the right to charge you at our standard rates for responding
to a service call or request to change or replace any defective Home
Zone Equipment, unless we subsequently ascertain that the malfunction
or defect is not caused by or attributable to your act, omission,
equipment or systems.
- The Home Zone Equipment and the Service are not transferable, unless otherwise approved by us in writing.
