    It is an information service which provides you with helpful lifestyle tips on the go, This value-added service allows StarHub post-paid and GREEN Prepaid* mobile customers to request for an auto delivery of preferred information via SMS, MMS, Gee! Menu and/or the web.

    *Some services are not available to GREEN Prepaid customers.
  2. Do I have to pay for Gee! Info Updates?
    There are no registration nor subscription charges* for the Gee! Info Updates. Charges are based on per request and GPRS usage charges apply when surfing Gee! Menu.
  3. What are the ways I can use Info Updates
    • For pay-per-use service, you can request for your preferred information by sending the keyword of the category.
      For example, to request for jokes of the day, simply type the word "JOKE" and send the SMS to 8008.
    • To receive jokes automatically on a daily basis, just type "JOKE ON" and send the SMS to 8008.
    • You can also customize the way information is sent to you by choosing the category of your choice, the time and frequency in which you would like to receive them.
    • To customize, click here! Some of the pay-per-use services are also made available on StarHub Menu and request.
    • For subscription-based services like Soccer Prediction service, please call our Customer Care. Consultant at 1633. Services on Gee! Menu are charged based on GPRS usage charges.
  4. How do I get Gee! Info Updates content to be delivered to me daily?
    You can subscribe to a daily dose of your preferred content by sending the keyword of your preferred content to 8008. For example, if you would like to receive diet tips on a daily basis, simply send an SMS with the message Diet ON to 8008 or CS ON to 6611 for MMS updates. Alternatively, you can customize your preferred time and frequency at our website. Simply login to customize your preferences.
  5. What are the contents available for Gee! Info Updates?
    Gee! Info Updates offer a wide variety of contents such as Love, Fortune, Health and many more. For a full list of the contents, please refer to Gee! Info Updates.
  6. How do I know that a reply to my request is received?
    Once your request is received, you will receive a "Message Received" alert on your mobile phone. If your mobile phone does not support any file format or if file size is bigger than what the MMS-enabled phone can support, the customer will receive instructions via SMS to retrieve the full MMS message from the website.
  7. Are the SMS keywords keywords case sensitive?
    No, they are not case sensitive.
  8. What happens if I use the wrong SMS keyword when requesting for Gee! Info Updates pay-per-use service?
    You will receive an error message from the system if you have used the wrong SMS keyword. To avoid any unnecessary SMS charges, please ensure that you use the correct keyword before requesting for Info Updates' content.
  9. If I use the wrong keyword when requesting for Gee!'s Info Updates pay-per-use service, will I incur any charges?
    Yes, normal SMS charges will still be incurred. However, you will not be charged for Premium SMS. 
  10. I did not receive any reply though my request was successful. What happened?
    It may be due to the following:
    • Your mobile phone was switched off
    • You were in an area where there was no mobile coverage
    • Your SMS pr MMS storage was full. To receive the SMS or MMS updates, you will need to clear some of the old SMS or MMS messages from your inbox
  11. Can I forward Gee! Info Updates content to a friend?
    Yes you can forward to your friend just like any SMS or MMS you received. However, updates from Gee! Menu cannot be forwarded.
