MobiTweet is a Twitter service provided by StarHub to let StarHub Mobile post-paid and prepaid customers use their existing Twitter account.

MobiTweet merely serves as a platform to let customers use their Twitter account.

With MobiTweet, customers can choose to Tweet via SMS, MMS, Facebook or Gee! and still be able to send tweets via their Twitter account.

To use MobiTweet via SMS or MMS you will need to perform a one-time simple set-up:

• Visit www.starhub.com/mobitweet
  
• Login with your existing Twitter ID and password (if you do not have one, you will need to create one at www.twitter.com)
  
• After logging in with your Twitter account, just simply enter your StarHub Mobile postpaid or prepaid number and you are ready to Tweet
  
• SMS or MMS <tweet message^> to 9000 any time to Tweet
  
• SMS/MMS are deducted from your SMS/MMS bundle and excess SMS/MMS is chargeable is at 5.35 cents per SMS/MMS

^Maximum number of characters in a tweet message is 140 characters. Messages longer than 140 characters will only be displayed up to 140 characters of the message.

MobiTweet via SMS or MMS gives you the convenience to tweet any-time and anywhere you want. You can also:

• Add up to 10 followers to receive tweet updates from them via SMS or MMS
• You can pause at any time you want if you do not want to receive SMS or MMS tweet updates by sending SMS <TWPAUSE> to 9000
• Once you are ready to receive SMS or MMS tweet updates again, simply SMS <TWRESUME> to 9000.
• You can also choose to set the desired daily timing not to receive SMS or MMS tweet updates (defaulted timing is between 2300 to 0700 hours).
• You can also choose to get SMS or MMS tweet updates all the time.

All StarHub Mobile post-paid and prepaid customers can use MobiTweet via SMS/MMS. They just have to register and set-up the service to start tweeting via SMS/MMS.

To use MobiTweet via Facebook, you will need to perform a one-time simple set-up:

• Sign up for a Facebook account or link your existing Facebook account with your existing Twitter ID and password (if you do not have one, you will need to create one at www.twitter.com).
• After logging in with your Twitter account, just simply enter your StarHub Mobile post-paid or prepaid number and you are ready to Tweet.
• SMS/MMS <FB message^> to 9000 anytime to post updates.

MobiTweet via Facebook gives you the convenience to post updates anywhere you want. You can also:

• Add up to 10 of your Facebook friends to receive updates from them via Facebook
• You can pause at any time you want if you do not want to receive Facebook updates by sending SMS <FBPAUSE> to 9000
• Once you are ready to receive Facebook updates again, simply SMS <FBRESUME> to 9000
• You can also choose to set the desired daily timing not to receive Facebook updates (default timing is between 2300 to 0700 hours)
• You can also choose to get Facebook updates all the time

• Just SMS <MOBITWEET> to 6757.
• Click on the link in the returned SMS to MobiTweet landing page in Gee!.
• Login with your existing Twitter ID and password (if you do not have one, you will 1st need to create one at www.twitter.com).
• Tweet and receive tweets as per how you would via online.

MobiTweet via Gee! is so simple and similar to online Twitter. You can:

• Send tweets^
• Read tweets from followers
• Search and add new followers
• Remove existing followers

All StarHub Mobile postpaid and prepaid customers can use MobiTweet via Gee!.

SMS/MMS sent via MobiTweet is deducted from customer’s price plan SMS/MMS bundle and excess charge is at 5.35 cents per SMS/MMS. However, students with their StarHub’s Student plan can enjoy unlimited usage with their unlimited SMS/MMS bundle.

MobiTweet via Gee! is a free service with zero data charges when the service is used locally.

First, please make sure that you have already registered and set up the MobiTweet via SMS/MMS service online and included your mobile number. If you have not done so, please login via www.starhub.com/mobitweet.

You will also need to make sure that the mobile number you have entered is a StarHub Mobile postpaid number as this service is only for post-paid customers.

Please make sure that you have the correct GPRS settings. You will need to select "GEE! 3G/GPRS" access point in order to access Gee! portal.

If your access point is incorrect, you may resend the correct settings to your phone by clicking here.

Also, do check that both your Twitter ID and password is correct and try again.
