Call Tones are renewable and valid for one calendar month. 5 days before the first of each month, you will receive a renewal SMS and have the choice to either (a) retain the same Call Tones, or (b) delete and/or (c) purchase brand new Call Tones.

- What happen if I decide not to buy/renew any Call Tone this month? Will I be charged?
The service subscription fee is free* for postpaid subscribers (Usual Price: $2.14). If there is no Call Tone purchased or renewed, no charge will be billed to the Postpaid subscribers. For GREEN Prepaid subscribers, the service subscription fee of $2.00 will be deducted from your card's balance. Both Postpaid and GREEN Prepaid subscribers, you will enjoy two free StarHub Call Tones in your personal library. - Can I preview the Call Tones before I subscribe to the service?
Yes, you can visit our website at www.starhub.com/calltones to preview all the Call Tones. If you are already subscribed to the service, you can also dial our Call Tones Hotline at 9380 0000^ to browse and purchase new Call Tones. - What is "StarHub Call Tone"?
"StarHub Call Tones" are two free default tones provided by StarHub when you subscribe to the Call Tones service. The two StarHub Call Tones are played randomly and StarHub may change the song content periodically. - How can I change the "StarHub Call Tone" to my preferred Call Tone?
"StarHub Call Tone" is given by FREE with Call Tones subscription and cannot be changed. You can purchase new Call Tones and select your purchased Call Tones to play if you do not wish to use "StarHub Call Tone".

The songs in the Specials bundles are pre-selected and sold as a packaged Call Tone. If you wish to purchase your favourite songs not in the Specials bundles, you can still purchase them as single Call Tones at just $2.14 (Postpaid) / $2 (Prepaid). - Are the Specials always pre-bundled with 3 or 5 songs?
The Specials are pre-bundled with 3 songs at $5.35 (Postpaid) / $5 (Prepaid) and 5 songs at $8.56 (Postpaid) / $8 (Prepaid). However, StarHub reserves the right to change the number of Call Tones bundled in Specials at any time at its own discretion without prior notice. - What will my callers hear if I delete all my purchased Call Tones?
If you delete all your purchased Call Tones, the "StarHub Call Tone" will be played as default. - I have purchased a new Call Tone, why do my callers still hear the "StarHub Call Tone"?
If you have not set your purchased Call Tone as your default Call Tone, the "StarHub Call Tone" will be played. - How do I know when is the time to renew my purchased Call Tones?
You will receive a reminder SMS 5 days before the first of every month. In this SMS, you will be informed of
the total number of Call Tones you have in your library and how much you will need to pay next month.
You can then decide to (a) retain, (b) delete and/or (c) purchase new Call Tones by:

Note: for GREEN Prepaid subscriber: Please ensure there is enough sufficient card balance for deduction to avoid service suspension. If the Call Tones service is suspended for 90 days, you will be unsubscribed from the Call Tones service automatically. - If I purchase 3 Call Tones on 5, 15, 29 of the month respectively, when will I receive the reminder SMS / what is the validity of the respective Call Tones?
You will receive the reminder SMS in the following month, 5 days before the first of the subsequent month. Hence, if your Call Tones are purchased on 5, 15 or 29 November, you will receive the reminder SMS on 25 December; requesting you to (a) retain, (b) delete and/or (c) purchase new Call Tones for January 2009. - What is the maximum number of Call Tones I can purchase each month?
You can purchase up to a maximum of 10 Call Tones each month. - I already have a maximum of 10 Call Tones purchased, what should I do if I want to purchase more Call Tones?
You can retain a maximum number of 10 Call Tones in your library. To purchase new Call Tones, please delete some from your personal library. - Can I set different Call Tones for specific callers?
Yes, you can. You can customize different Call Tones for different callers, by visiting our website at www.starhub.com/calltones. There are a total of 5 Caller Groups and you can assign up to 10 numbers for each Caller Group.
Simply follow these steps:
Step 1: Assign a specific Call Tone to the Caller Groups.
Step 2: Add callers' numbers to the Caller Groups.
Note: Your selected default Call Tone will still be played for all other callers not added in your Caller Groups. - Can my overseas callers hear my Call Tones?
Yes. Your overseas friends can hear your purchased Call Tones. - Can my family and friends hear my purchased Call Tones when I am overseas?
Yes. Your family and friends can hear your Call Tones when you are overseas. However, it also depends on the overseas network operators supporting our service and some locations might not support. - What is "Special Occasion Tones"?
"Special Occasion Tones" is a unique function which allows you to assign specific Call Tones to specific (a) mobile numbers, (b) caller group or (c) all callers to be played at a specified date and time.
For example, during the Christmas season you can set to play your purchased Christmas Call Tones from
1 to 26 Dec. You can also set preferred purchased Call Tones to any time of the day; Set a professional Call Tone to play during office hours and a funky cheeky Call Tone to play for your after work happy hours. - Can I add a friend with Caller Number Non-Display (Private Number) / an Overseas Number for my "Caller Group", "Special Occasion Tones" & "Exclusion List"?
No. The services are only applicable for local telephone and/or mobile numbers with Caller Number Display. - What is "Purchase History"?
"Purchase History" allows you to view all your purchased Call Tone(s) transaction(s) for the past 3 months. - Can I dial the Call Tone hotline (+65 9380 0000) / *138# when I'm overseas?
Yes, you can. However, please note that prevailing roaming call charges will apply.
Note: Usage of *138# is subjected to overseas operators. - I am a MultiSIM subscriber, can I subscribe to Call Tones service?
No. MultiSIM and Call Tones services are mutually exclusive. You will not be able to activate with Call Tones service and vice-versa. - Why can't I preview and purchase Call Tones via my Safari web browser?
Currently, the Call Tones website is only compatible on Internet Explorer. You might encounter problem if you are using other web browsers such as Safari, Firefox, Mozilla, etc.
Please ensure that you are using Internet Explorer when accessing the Call Tones website. - I'm a prepaid subscriber and I have $1 balance in my prepaid account. Why did my Call Tones service get suspended / terminated?
To keep your Call Tones service, you will need to maintain sufficient balance in your prepaid account. If there is insufficient balance for the minimum subscription deduction / one Call Tone purchased renewal fee (i.e. $2), your Call Tones service will be suspended and eventually your Call Tones service will be terminated after 90 days of deduction failure.
Please kindly top-up to continue the Call Tones service. Once a top-up is done, $2 will be deducted from your prepaid balance, and your Call Tones service will be re-activated. Then you can visit our website or call the Call Tones Hotline to purchase new Call Tones.
Note: Prepaid Call Tones service deduction will be on 2nd of every month. - I'm a prepaid subscriber and I have 3 Call Tones in my personal library. Why is it that only one Call Tones was renewed?
To renew all your 3 Call Tones in your personal library, you will need to maintain sufficient balance in your prepaid account (i.e. $6 for 3 Call Tones). The numbers of Call Tones that will be automatically renewed for next month will depend on your available prepaid balance. For example, if you have $3 in your prepaid balance, only one of your Call Tone will be renewed and there will be a deduction of $2. The remaining 2 Call Tones will be deleted.
Note: Your last (newer) purchased Call Tones will be renewed and the first (older) purchased Call Tones will be deleted. To renew all your Call Tones in your personal library, please ensure you have sufficient balance in your prepaid account. Prepaid Call Tones service deduction will be on the 2nd of every month. - Do I need to maintain a minimum prepaid balance after the Call Tones purchase and/or subscription and renewal fees deduction?
No. There is no minimum prepaid balance required. - How can I unsubscribe the Call Tones service?

- How will I be charged if I unsubscribe the Call Tone service in the middle of a calendar month?
