SMS Top-up service for online games

  1.  What is StarHub SMS Top-up service?

    StarHub's SMS Top-up service is a mobile billing solution for gamers who would like to purchase game credits to enhance their experience of selected online games. This service allows you to make purchases of game credits via SMS through your mobile phone. The credits are used to top up your in-game wallet of supported online games.

  2. Is StarHub SMS Top-up service only available to StarHub Mobile customers?

    Only StarHub Mobile post-paid customers are able to enjoy this service.

  3. What other features can be used via the SMS Top-up service?

    You can use the SMS Top-up service for the following activities :

    • purchase game credits from your respective Game Service Provider
    • purchase or activate cash-related items or features within individual game
    • purchase special discounted offers
    • check last three purchased transactions
    • request for last three purchased game codes

    It is a convenient method for you to top up your game time or game credits via their StarHub mobile phones anytime and anywhere.

  4. Do I need to activate this service in order to use the SMS Top-up for games?

    All post-paid customers are eligible to use this SMS Top-up service.

  5. If I want to turn off or bar this SMS Top-up service, is it possible?

    You can bar this service by sending the SMS "unsub" to 6788. You will receive a confirmation SMS once the service has been successfully barred on your mobile phone. If you wish to activate the service again, you will need to call 1633. Activation of this service will take three working days.

  6. Are there any charges for using this SMS Top-up service?

    Normal SMS charges applies in addition to the game credits that you have purchased. You will only be charged when you receive an SMS confirmation with the game code and password. The charges will be reflected in your next StarHub bill.

  7. Can I cancel a transaction after I have purchased?

    Game credits delivered to you are considered sold and utilised. Hence, cancellation is not possible.

  8. Can I purchase multiple codes in one request?

    No. You can only purchase one code per request.

  9. Is there a limit to the number of codes that I can purchase per month?

    Yes, the credit limit for each post-paid user is $180 per calendar month. If you exceeds the credit limit within the month, you will not be able to purchase any more.  You will only be able to purchase game credits in the following month.

  10. What happens if I accidentally delete the SMS with the code?

    You can request for the code again at the respective SMS top-up menu of individual publishers. Simply SMS "TU" to the individual games publisher's short and then select option  "Resend Last Game Codes".

    You will receive last three game codes that have purchased, regardless of whether the game codes have been activated or not.

    Should you wish to receive the game codes other than the last three, you will need to call into 1633 for help. It will take three working days for the codes to be resent to you.

  11. How do I activate the pin on the website?

    Please refer to the individual games publisher's website on how to activate the pin.
