Roaming to Asia Zone
- What is Asia Zone?
Asia Zone is a list of Asia countries where StarHub customers can enjoy up to 25% off roaming calls charges while travelling overseas. For example, a voice call from Australia to China will qualify for the 25% discount.
- Why limit the discount to a selected list of countries?
The selected countries are the more popular destinations that customers are likely to travel to. StarHub will extend the Asia Zone list when there is an increased customer demand for other Asian countries.
- How do I enjoy the discounted rate to Asia Zone?
You need to be a StarHub Mobile subscriber with International Roaming or Pay-As-You-Roam service.
- Do I have to log on to a specific operator to enjoy the discounted rate to Asia Zone?
No. With simplified roaming, you can log on to any operator within the country.
- Will the discounted rate apply to all my mobile services?
No. The discounted rate is only applicable to voice calls. Video call, SMS, MMS & GPRS will be charged at the prevailing rate.
- Where can I find the Asia Zone rate?
Go to "Destinations" and select the roaming country you are in or going to. Asia Zone rate is shown in the "Call International" column.
