- What is this Conexus Mobile Alliance joint effort with StarHub about?
Conexus Mobile Alliance's main intention is to provide all our customers with real cost savings and added privileges to enhance our customers' experience.
- What is pay-per-day data roaming flat rate?
This means StarHub mobile customers will only be charged a daily data roaming flat rate of up to $15 when roaming on Conexus Mobile Alliance partners' network. If the data usage exceeds the daily price cap, no additional charges will be billed.
- How will this pay-per-day roaming flat rate benefit me?
Today, you enjoy 50% off data roaming rates when roaming on any of our Conexus Mobile Alliance partners' network. With this pay-per-day roaming flat rate, you will enjoy greater peace of mind knowing that your data roaming charges will be capped at a daily rate of $15 when you roam on our alliance partners' network. Any usage beyond this cap will not be charged. The price cap is determined based on Singapore's time (0000hrs - 2359hrs), regardless where the customer is.
- How do I know if I am roaming on your Conexus Mobile Alliance partners?
You will be able to see the network you are roaming on from your mobile phone when overseas. Customers will only enjoy pay-per-day roaming flat rate on the Conexus Mobile Alliance Partners.
- How would I know when the daily price cap is reached?
When the daily price cap is reached, the rest of the data roaming calls charges incurred will be presented as $0 on the bill.
- How will I be charged if I have reached the daily price cap and made a data roaming call at 11:55pm till 12:15am on the next day?
The 5mins till 12:00am midnight will be free and you will be charged for data roaming calls incurred between 12:01am to 12:15am. However, your bill will reflect the start of the call, so you will see some charges at 11:55pm time stamp.
- Will there be a different charge for Pay-As-You-Roam subscribers?
Yes, Pay-As-You-Roam customers will pay 20% on top of prevailing charges, at a daily price cap is at $18.
- Is DiGi part of Conexus Mobile Alliance Partners?
No, DiGi is our preferred partner but not part of the Conexus Mobile Alliance Partners.
- Why is DiGi enjoying unlimited data roaming with usage charge capped at $15?
We recognise Malaysia is one of our frequently travelled countries. For the benefit of StarHub customers, we partner with DiGi to provide unlimited data roaming at $15.
- Do I enjoy 50% discount off GPRS/SMS rates with DiGi?
No, the 50% discount off GPRS/SMS promotion is exclusive to Conexus Mobile Alliance Partners.
- Do you have other preferred partner with similar offer?
Not at the moment, but we constantly look for opportunity to work with more partners to provide value added services for our customers.
- I am paying $15 for unlimited data roaming in DiGi (Malaysia). If within the same day, I travel to Indonesia and use data roaming on Indosat, will I be charged?
No. When you reach the $15 usage charge cap, there will be no further charge even if you travel and logon to another Conexus Mobile Alliance Network and/or DiGi network within the same day (Singapore time 00:00 – 23:59 hour).
