StarHub Menu
- How do I know that a reply to my query is received?
It is the same as receiving an SMS message. You'll receive a "message received" alert on your mobile phone for every StarHub Menu reply. The sender's address will be 88880 or 88881.
- Why can't I send canned messages or my contact details to non-StarHub mobile users?
Once we have established an SMS interoperability agreement with other mobile service providers, you'll be able to send this information to non-StarHub mobile users.
- Why do I need a GSM Phase 2+ phone to enjoy StarHub Menu?
This is because the StarHub Menu was developed in line with the advanced SIM Tool Kit Application technology, based on the GSM standard.
- Are these mobile phones readily available and are they more expensive?
These mobile phones are readily available in the market. In fact, all new mobile phone models from leading mobile phone vendors are Phase 2+ enabled and they are very affordable.
- On average, how long does it take to receive a reply for each query?
It will only take a short while to receive a reply. However, the response may be delayed if you are out of the mobile network coverage area.
- There are times where I don't get a reply from a valid request, why is it so?
Your SIM card memory may be filled with 10 saved SMS. Thus, you are unable to receive any new replies until you delete some of your stored SMS messages.
- Will I be charged for creating "My Contact" details in my SMS card?
No, you will not be charged for creating, editing, or viewing My Contact details.
- Will StarHub Menu prompt me if I key in the wrong inputs?
StarHub Menu does not prompt you for wrong inputs immediately, however, it will send an error reply back to you for any wrong entry.
