- What is the rate for StarHub's Directory Enquiry service?
StarHub's fixed-line and mobile customers, as well as inbound mobile roamers on StarHub's network, will pay 70 cents (exclude GST) to connect to StarHub's Directory Enquiry service.
- Are there other charges to the Directory Enquiry service?
If they require assistance in connecting to the telephone number requested, they will need to pay an additional 20 cents (exclude GST).
- How much are overseas operators charging for the service?
In overseas markets, the pricing of directory assistance services varies from operator to operator and from country to country. NTT of Japan charges between 90 cents and $2.20 per call while British Telecom charges $1.10 per call.
- What are the alternative directory assistance service available?
There are other existing directory search tools which are easily available on the internet. You can check any listed telephone number via the Internet Yellow Pages (www.yellowpages.com.sg) eGuide Singapore (www.eguide.com.sg), or the Greenbook (www.thegreenbook.com.sg). Alternatively, you can refer to the Greenbook (CD-Rom) or phonebook distributed free-of-charge to all fixed-line subscribers. Mobile customers who subscribe to StarHub's GPRS service will be able to access fixed line listings through GPRS connectivity if their mobile phone supports it.
