  1. What is this Video-On-Demand on Mobile service (Prepaid)?
    Video-On-Demand on Mobile is a value-added service applicable to StarHub Prepaid customers preferably using 3G Prepaid SIM card, including MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card.

    This value-added service allows customers to watch latest hit series wherever they go via their 3G and 3.5G compatible handsets.
  2. Can I sign up for Video-On-Demand on Mobile service and use it on any mobile phone?
    Video-On-Demand on Mobile streaming service is handset dependent, customers should refer to the list of supported handsets before they sign up for the service to make sure their handsets can support the service.
  3. Do I need to pay for this service?
    Yes, each clip is chargeable at a promotional rate of $0.10. This promotional rate will be valid till 31 October 2009. Do note that the duration per clip is dependent on the series chosen.
  4. How do I subscribe to this service?
    Customer can go to:
    1. Prepaid Gee! and click on the link where it states "Video-On-Demand on Mobile". Follow the steps and you are on your way to enjoy the service.
    2. SMS < DTVPP> to 6757. Customer will receive an SMS and simply click onto the link given to access to Video-On-Demand on Mobile service.
  5. Will I be charged for data usage while accessing Video-On-Demand on Mobile?
    No, there will not be any data charges upon successful purchase and accessing of Video-On-Demand on Mobile in Singapore. Usual roaming GPRS charges apply if service is used overseas.
    Pls note that accessing Prepaid Gee! is still chargeable at prevailing GPRS charges.
  6. The charge will be deducted from my card's main balance or Happy balances?
    Deduction for Video-On-Demand on Mobile will be from the card's main balance only.
    Not applicable to Happy balances.
  7. Is there a need for a minimum amount in my main balance before I can subscribe to this service?
    No, as long as your main balance is sufficient for deduction, you will still be able to purchase the clip chosen.
  8. I can't seem to access Video-On-Demand on Mobile WAP site. What could be the problem?
    There could be various reasons why you might not be able to access Video-On-Demand on Mobile service. Please check that you have activated Gee! on your mobile number and also your mobile phone GPRS settings are correct before trying again. You will need to select "Prepaid GEE! 3G/GPRS" access point in order to use Video-On-Demand on Mobile service.
  9. What is the access point to be used for accessing the Video-On-Demand on Mobile service?
    You need to select "Prepaid GEE! 3G/GPRS" access point to use the Video-On-Demand on Mobile service. Connecting to the Video-On-Demand on Mobile application via Wi-Fi and "StarHub Internet" access point settings is not supported.
  10. If that is the case, how would I know if I'm a 2G or 3G Prepaid SIM user?
    We just launched 3G GREEN Prepaid SIM in end June 2009, so if you purchased your card earlier than the launched date, you should be holding a 2G SIM card.
  11. Can I upgrade my 2G SIM to 3G SIM?
    Sorry, there is no upgrading of SIM available. If you like to have a 3G Prepaid SIM, you will need to purchase it from StarHub Shops and the normal registration process will be conducted.
