- Is there a minimum credit amount that I must have in my GREEN Prepaid Card for GPRS, MMS access?
You must have a minimum credit amount of $1.00 on your GREEN Prepaid Card to use GPRS and MMS.
- Is there a minimum credit amount that I must have in my GREEN Prepaid Card for Gee! Games?
You must have a minimum credit amount of $1.00 to use Gee! Games.
For any download that costs more than $3.00 would need an additional $0.50 on top of the download amount. For example, if you plan to download a Java game that costs $6.00, the minimum credit amount in your card must be at least $6.50. You would need to top-up your GREEN Prepaid Card to use the service.
- What is the list of Gee! Services not offered to Prepaid customers?
The following Gee! VASes will not be offered to Prepaid customers: Gee! Phone Book Manager, iMail, PopMail Viewer, SMSEmail, Gee! Select.
- To enjoy GPRS service, must I activate the service and will I need to configure my mobile phone? Will I automatically be able to send and receive MMS and related MMS applications?
You will have to activate GPRS by entering *110#. For phone configuration, please refer to www.starhub.com/gee for details. You will also need to send your first MMS to be able to receive MMS in future.
- How can I check if my handset is compatible for Gee! Fun Downloads?
All GPRS enabled handsets are compatible for Gee! Fun Downloads.
- What if I am unable to retrieve the download after confirmation via Gee! Fun Downloads? Will I still be charged?
Depending on the download amount, you will be charged accordingly. However, you can inform our Customer Service Consultant by calling 1633 to report the incident.
- Am I able to access third party WAP-sites such as Dream3rs.com, mobilesoft.com, 1900- sites, etc?
Yes. You are able to access the 3rd party WAP sites.
- Can I still use the GPRS access while roaming?
Yes, you may do so in countries which support GPRS Roaming and Prepaid Roaming. For a list of supported roaming destinations, please click here. In order to use GPRS access while overseas, you should activate your Prepaid Roaming service before leaving Singapore. Simply dial *111# to activate your Prepaid Roaming service.
- Is there a minimum credit amount that I must have in my GREEN Prepaid Card for GPRS Roaming?
The minimum credit amount is $8. Please click here for the rates.
- How can I register for a Gee! Login with my GREEN Prepaid Card?
Go to Gee! login and click on "Register Now". After completing the registration page, a password will be sent to you via SMS. You can login using your mobile number and password. Remember to change your password after you have logged in.
- Are there any GPRS data charges when I receive MMS?
Data charges are not charged for receiving MMS only. The MMS usage charges application depends on the MMS applications you are using.
- Am I eligible for MMS related services?
With GREEN Prepaid, you would be able to send/receive MMS to your friends in Singapore or overseas. When you are traveling overseas, you can send/receive MMS with MMS Roaming. You can also download MMS Animations & Wallpapers and use Video MMS.
- Can I convert the free SMS (which I am entitled to for every top-up value) to MMS?
No, you would not be able to convert free SMS to MMS at this moment.
- Can I receive MMS from SingTel or M1 customers on my Prepaid number?
Yes, you can send and/or receive MMS to a SingTel or M1 customer with your GREEN Prepaid mobile number.
- Now that I have Prepaid Roaming, can I send/receive MMS when I am overseas?
Yes, you can send/receive MMS when roaming in countries which support MMS roaming. Click here for a list of supported roaming destinations
- What are the charges for MMS with GREEN Prepaid?
The charges will vary according to the different MMS services.
For MMS Peer to Peer ( local and overseas)
- 30 cents per MMS sent (<30kb)
- 80 cents per MMS (=/>30kb)

- What are the charges for sending MMS when I’m overseas?
The charges will be similar to the sending of MMS in Singapore. However, please note that the overseas operator's GPRS charges may apply for some of the destinations.
- Am I eligible to participate in Gee! Promotions with my prepaid number?
Yes, you can, as long as the service is made available to GREEN Prepaid customers.
- Will I receive legacy messages (SMS notification) if I did not receive MMS for any reason due to file non-compatibility, non-supported MMS size?
You will not receive any legacy SMS.

- Is internet surfing available via my GREEN Prepaid Card?
Yes, internet surfing is available for GREEN Prepaid Card.
- Why is internet surfing with a prepaid card slower than post-paid?
Internet surfing using a prepaid card is charged on a real time basis where the value is deducted as you use the service. The system needs to constantly validate the credit availability for the prepaid card. As a result, the internet surfing speed may be slightly slower as compared to postpaid.
- Is WIFI offered to prepaid customers?
No, WIFI is not offered to prepaid customers.
- Can prepaid customer send MMS to an email address?
Yes.
- What are the charges for GPRS Roaming?
The charging is based on Zone Based Tariff.
