For Internet Top-Up via Credit Cards
- What are the acceptable credit cards for internet top-up via credit cards?
All Master/VISA credit/debit cards will be accepted for internet top-up.
- I understand that the OCBC FairPrice credit/debit card is applicable for internet top-up as well, will I get to earn any "NTUC Link Points" by using this card?
There will be no NTUC Link Points earned for any top-up made using OCBC the Fairprice credit/debit card.
For Internet/Mobile Banking (OCBC only)
- What is the list of banks that allow internet banking top-up?
Currently only OCBC bank allows you to top-up your StarHub Prepaid SIM card via OCBC internet banking website.
- Can I top-up my StarHub Prepaid SIM card with the OCBC mobile banking application? And where can I download the application from?
The OCBC mobile banking application allows StarHub Prepaid customers to top-up to their prepaid SIM cards.
Customers may download the OCBC mobile application from Apple App store, BlackBerry App World or Android Market(Android App store)for the respective handset supported devices.
The Java application is also available at mobile.ocbc.com .Click on "Login" and select "Download Application".
- Will I incur data charges if I top-up my StarHub Prepaid SIM card via mobile banking?
Prevailing data charges will be applicable for all top-ups made via the OCBC mobile banking application.

- Are there any restrictions to the type of banking accounts I can use for the OCBC internet/mobile banking top-up?
All OCBC Personal Savings Accounts and/or Current Accounts will be eligible for top-up via internet banking.
- If I top-up my Prepaid SIM card via Master/VISA credit/debit cards or via OCBC internet/mobile banking, what details will be reflected in my monthly credit/debit/banking statement?
For top-up made via Master/VISA credit/debit card, the transaction statement will show the prepaid mobile number and the amount deducted from the account for the top-up.
For top-up made via OCBC Internet/Mobile Banking, Current Account statement will show the prepaid mobile number. The Passbook Savings account will show "TOP" under the "reference" column to indicate that the transaction is for a top-up of Prepaid SIM card. However, customers will have to call up the respective banks to check on the exact top-up details.
- Is there a minimum or maximum amount that I’m allowed to top-up?

- Do I get to enjoy any top-up bonus or free SMS if I top-up my StarHub Prepaid card via Credit/Debit cards/internet/mobile banking top-up channels?
Yes, there will be free credits and local SMS awarded with every successful transaction. Please refer to the table above.
- Can I do a top-up to my MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card with either $17 (Happy Stars)/$28 (Happy $128)?
No. $17 (Happy Stars) and $28 (Happy $128) are not applicable for MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card. Kindly choose the other available denominations.
- Can I verify with StarHub or the respective bank on a missing top-up amount or transaction done many months back? (Example: Amount I had topped-up a few months ago was not credited to my GREEN Prepaid SIM card).
A notification message will be sent to the prepaid mobile number after every successful top-up.
If your credit/debit/banking statement has indicated that a deduction was made for your StarHub Prepaid SIM but your prepaid SIM has not been topped-up, you may call 1633 for verification and assistance.
- How soon will my StarHub Prepaid SIM card get topped-up after the transaction is approved?
The top-up amount will be credited to your Prepaid SIM once the transaction has been approved. You will also receive a notification message on your prepaid mobile number.
- Will the deduction from my bank account take place before my Prepaid SIM card has been topped-up?
The top-up amount will first be deducted from the relevant bank account. Thereafter, it will be credited into the Prepaid SIM card.
- What should I do if I have accidentally entered a wrongly top-up amount?
If you have not clicked the confirmation button, you would be able to click "Back" to re-select your preferred amount.
However, once you have clicked the confirmation button, there will be no refund to the amount selected.
- Can StarHub refund the top-up amount from an approved transaction?
There will be no refund for any approved top-up transaction.
- I had topped-up to a wrong Prepaid card number, can I request for refund and top-up this amount to my other Prepaid SIM card instead?
There will be no refund for any approved top-up transaction.
- What should I do if the top-up amount was debited from my account but my Prepaid SIM was not topped-up?

- Will the transaction get approved if I have entered an invalid prepaid mobile number?
If the StarHub prepaid mobile number is invalid, the transaction will not be approved.
