- I am currently holding a 2G Prepaid SIM. Can I switch to 3G SIM and retain my old Prepaid number?
We regret that we are not able to retain your current prepaid mobile number in the event you wish to switch to a 3G Prepaid SIM card. A new 3G Prepaid SIM card with a different mobile number will have to be purchased.
NOTE: 3G GREEN Prepaid SIM card is available in $8 and $15 card denominations.
- Can I make a local video call and how are the charges like?
Yes, you may make local video call if you are using a 3G Prepaid SIM card.
Charges for local video calls will be the same as the charges for local voice calls for prepaid as follows:
1st min: 22cents/min
2nd min onwards: 8cents/min (U.P. 18cents/min)
Free Incoming Call (FIC) is applicable to incoming video call.
- Can I make an overseas video call and what are the charges?
Yes, you may make a video call to an international number using IDD 008 only
The charges incurred will be based on:
- the IDD 008 video call rate to that particular country/destination; and
- the local airtime charge for the duration of the IDD call
How to make an overseas video call:
DIAL 008 > Country Code > Telephone No.> Press Video Call button
Note: IDD 018 is not applicable for video calls.

- Can I make video calls while roaming?
No. You will not be able to make video calls while roaming.
- There is a promotional rate of $0.88 for IDD 008 video call for post-paid mobile customers. Is this promotion applicable for prepaid mobile customers?
Sorry, the promotional rate of $0.88 is not applicable to prepaid mobile customers.
- If I purchased a New 3G Prepaid SIM card at either $8 or $15, will i enjoy any free video call airtime?
Customer will need to purchase a New Prepaid SIM card with the "3G SIM Card" sticker.
The bundled airtime for the newly purchased 3G Prepaid SIM card will apply to both video and voice calls.
NOTE: local video calls will be charged at the same rates as local voice calls.
- Do the same GPRS data charges apply as that of the 2G network?
The same GPRS charges apply for both 2G and 3G SIM card users.
- I have both Main and Happy local balances. If I make a local video call, will this be deducted from my Main or Happy local balances?
It will be deducted from the Happy local balance. If you have depleted your Happy balance, it will then be deducted from the Main balance. This is the same as local voice calls.
- If I make an International IDD 008 video call, can this be deducted from my Happy International balance?
Yes, the IDD 008 video call charge will be deducted from your Happy International balance.
