Supplementary Hub ID

  1. How do I know I am a Supplementary Hub ID user?
    If you are a Supplementary Hub ID user, you will be able to view the association of your Hub ID to a Main Hub ID when you log in to your Hub ID
  2. How many Main Hub IDs can one Supplementary Hub ID be associated to?
    A Supplementary Hub ID can only be associated to 1 Main Hub ID.
  3. Can I remove my Supplementary Hub ID association with the Main Hub ID?
    As a Supplementary Hub ID must be associated with a Main Hub ID, the removal of the association will eventually disqualify you from owning a Hub ID. To continue to retain your Supplementary Hub ID, it is necessary to associate it to a Main Hub ID.
  4. I have received an email informing me that my Hub ID was removed from the Main Hub ID. I want to retain my Hub ID, what must I do now?
    If you wish to retain your Hub ID, please do one of the following:
    • To associate your Hub ID with another Main Hub ID
    • To upgrade your supplementary status to a Main one by associating one of your active StarHub account*.

    *The StarHub account must either be StarHub Mobile or StarHub TV /MaxOnline that is registered under your NRIC/FIN.
  5. How do I upgrade my Supplementary Hub ID to a Main Hub ID?
    First, you need to be a paying subscriber of at least one of the following StarHub services:
    • StarHub Mobile (Post-paid customers only) and/or
    • StarHub TV/MaxOnline
    After that, it only takes a few simple steps:
    • Step 2: Select Hub ID Management
    • Step 3: Remove current association of Main Hub ID
    • Step 4: Associate your registered StarHub service(s) and click “Update”
  6. What happens after I remove my Supplementary association with a Main Hub ID?
    Following our periodic maintenance where no Main Hub ID association is detected with your Hub ID, an email will be sent to you. This is a notification to advise you to associate your Supplementary Hub ID to a Main Hub ID, if you wish to retain it.

    Your Hub ID will be automatically terminated after 2 weeks if we do not hear from you on this matter.
  7. Can I associate another Supplementary Hub ID to my Supplementary Hub ID?
    No, a Supplementary Hub ID may only be associated with a Main Hub ID.
  8. Can I change my Supplementary Hub ID association of the current Main Hub ID to another Main Hub ID?
    Yes. You may only do this if you do not have an active WiFi service subscribed under the current StarHub TV/MaxOnline account number.

    It only takes a few simple steps:
    • Step 1: Log in to your Hub ID
    • Step 2: Click “Remove” next to the Main Hub ID
    • Step 3: Enter the new Main Hub ID you wish to associate
    • Step 4: Click “Submit”
