1. What is StarHub Leaderboard Tool bar?
   
   StarHub Leaderboard tool bar resides within an internet browser. It will appear whenever you use the complimentary 1Mbps broadband service via StarHub Hubstation.

2. What are the features available?
   
   The features in the Leaderboard tool bar are:
   
   • Ad Banner
   • Hyperlinks to StarHub sites
   • Web SMS Widget
     
     
3. Can I opt-out of the tool bar?
   
   You cannot opt-out but you can close the tool bar by clicking the close “X” icon at the top right corner of the toolbar.  When the tool bar is closed, it remains closed for the next 24 hours as long as the same PC and Hubstation are used for your web surfing.  
   
   
4. What is the Web SMS chat?
   
   The Web SMS is a Widget in the tool bar that allows you to send SMS from PC to a StarHub Mobile phone for free.

5. Can I customize the widgets?
   
   No, you will not be able to customize the widgets.
   
   
6. If I were to clear my cache, can I still see StarHub Leaderboard Toolbar?  
   
   If the cache is cleared and a new web page / site is launched, StarHub Leaderboard Toolbar will re-appear.
   
   
7. If I were to SMS a StarHub mobile user who is overseas, will I be charged?
   
   No, you will not be charged because you will be using the web-based SMS function. However, there will be a charge for the overseas customer if he replies to the message via mobile.
   
   
8. Can I send an SMS to any mobile numbers?
   
   No, you will only be able to send SMSes to StarHub customers.
   
   
9. Can I send to both StarHub’s pre-paid & post paid customers?
   
   Yes, you can send Web SMS to both SarHub’s pre-paid and post paid customers.
   
   
10. Can my SMS chat history be saved?
    
    No, your SMS chat history cannot be saved.
    
    
11. Is there a SMS time-out if there are no replies from the sms recipient after period of time?
    
    The SMS time-out session is 15 minutes from the moment the chat box is left open without any interaction.
    
    
12. Can I minimize the SMS chat window?
    
    Yes, you can hide the chat box by clicking the Web SMS icon. All previous SMS conversations will be in shown when the chat box is maximized again.
    
    
13. What happens if I were to click the (x) button shown on StarHub Leader Board Toolbar? Will my SMS session end?
    
    Yes. Your SMS chat will end if you were to click the close (x) button on StarHub Leaderboard Toolbar.
    
    
14. Can I SMS chat with multiple StarHub mobile customers?
    
    No, that is not possible.
    
    
15. What happens if you close the StarHub Leaderboard Toolbar window by clicking (x) and my friend tries to reply? Will he see any error message?
    
    Your friend will not be able to reply. He will instead see a message stating, “<your friend’s name> has ended the SMS Widget session. Please reply to his/her mobile phone instead”
    
    
16. What is the maximum number of SMS characters the customer can input?
    
    140 characters.
    
    
17. I am using the free 1Mbps on my HubStation and do not want to click ‘X’ to close the Leader Board Toolbar each time I launch a new web page.  What can I do? 
    
    StarHub Leaderboard toolbar is introduced with an intention to enhance our customer’s surfing experience, and we welcome customer’s feedback to improve its features.  The functionality to disable the toolbar at the user’s end may be made available at a later date.  Meanwhile, to close this toolbar, you may click ‘X’ on the top right corner and it will remain closed for the next 24 hours.  You may also wish to find out more about our suite of other broadband packages.
    
    
18. How do I enable to Leaderboard Toolbar again within the 24-hour period?
    
    To access the toolbar again within the same house, you may either use a different PC / Laptop or a different Hubstation to connect to the internet.
