  1. What is FlexiCard?

    FlexiCard is a StarHub prepaid card that allows you to pay for selected StarHub Online services over the Internet on a pre-payment mode.

  2. What kind of services can FlexiCard be used for?

    Currently, FlexiCard can be used for the purchase of the following StarHub Online services:

    More services will be made payable using FlexiCard at later stages.

  3. Besides the use of FlexiCard, what other payment options are available for the above-mentioned services?

    You can also choose to pay for the services via credit card. The credit cards accepted are VISA and MasterCard.

  4. What is the value of each FlexiCard?

    FlexiCard is currently valued at only $15. FlexiCard will be made available in other denominations at later stages.

  5. Is there an expiry date for each FlexiCard?

    Yes. The expiry date is printed on the back of the card.

  6. Where can I buy a FlexiCard?

    You can purchase FlexiCard at the following places:

  7. Can I use my StarHub Rewards Monthly Points to redeem FlexiCard?

    You can redeem the $50 StarHub Shop voucher and use it to purchase FlexiCard from our shops.

  8. If I lose my FlexiCard, will the founder of my FlexiCard be able to use it? If so, what can I do to prevent authorised usage of the card?

    If you lose your FlexiCard, the founder of your card will be able to use all remaining value in the card. You will not be able track or stop the founder.

How do I use FlexiCard?

  1. How do I use FlexiCard?

    To use FlexiCard, simply scratch off the security strip at the back of the card to reveal the card number.

    During the online transaction to pay for your desired StarHub Online service, select to pay via FlexiCard (instead of credit card), input the card number and click “Submit”. The total purchase amount will be deducted from the card.

  2. How do I know if I have successfully completed the online transaction?

    At the end of your transaction, you will see a confirmation page which will reflect the total amount of your purchase and the corresponding remaining value in your FlexiCard.

  3. How do I know if I have no credit left in the FlexiCard?

    At the end of your transaction, the remaining value in your FlexiCard will be displayed in the confirmation page. If there is no credit left in the card, zero value will be reflected.

  4. What should I do if I encountered error messages when using FlexiCard during the transaction? Can I get a replacement?

    You will encounter error messages only if there is insufficient value in your FlexiCard for the transaction.
    If your FlexiCard is newly purchased, you will not encounter any error messages.

    You are strongly encouraged to check your FlexiCard at the point of purchase. If a FlexiCard is found to be defective at the point of purchase, it can be replaced. Once a FlexiCard is sold, it is neither refundable nor exchangeable.

  5. Can I use FlexiCard for more than one purchase?

    Yes, you can do that as long as there is sufficient value in the card. For example, if you have utilised $7.50 for MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Day access in one transaction, you will be left with a remaining value of $7.50 in the card. This remaining value can be utilised for your subsequent purchases(s).

  6. Can I use FlexiCard to pay for more than one service?

    Yes. For example, if you have utilised $7.50 for MaxOnline FlexiSurf Express, By Day, you can still use the remaining value of $7.50 in the same card to pay for one-month’s subscription of Games-On-Demand Gamers Pack valued at $10.70. However, you would need to purchase another FlexiCard to top-up the excess of $3.00.

  7. The remaining value on my FlexiCard is insufficient for my next transaction. What can I do?

    If you have insufficient value in your FlexiCard, you can top-up any outstanding value with more FlexiCards to complete the transaction.

  8. How many FlexiCard(s) can I utilise to complete each transaction?

    You can use up to a maximum of 5 FlexiCards for each transaction.

  9. Can I top-up the value in my FlexiCard?

    No, each FlexiCard will be invalidated once its value is depleted or when the expiry date is reached. You will need to purchase a new FlexiCard for your next transaction.

  10. I have made a wrong purchase. Can I request for a refund on the amount deducted from my FlexiCard?

    Sorry, no refunds or exchanges can be made after purchase.

  11. How can I check the current value in my FlexiCard?

    During your online transaction with FlexiCard, you will be given the option to check for remaining value in the card. Simply click on the “Check Card Value” button to tabulate the balance value.

  12. I have not used my FlexiCard either in full or partial and would like to request for a refund. Can I do so?

    Sorry, no refunds on any unused value, whether full or partial, will be made for FlexiCard.

  13. If I have paid for a StarHub Online service, for example, MaxOnline FlexiSurf Express with my credit card previously, can I use FlexiCard to pay for an extension of my current active service?

    Yes, you will be able to. The usage credit for the latter payment will be post-dated i.e. it will start only upon expiry of all current usage credit.

  14. If I have paid for a StarHub Online service, for example, MaxOnline FlexiSurf Express with FlexiCard previously, can I use credit card to pay for an extension of my current active service?

    Yes, you will be able to. The usage credit for the latter payment will be post-dated i.e. it will start only upon expiry of all current usage credit.

  15. Can I use FlexiCard to pay for other StarHub services such as StarHub Digital Cable, Mobile Postpaid services and MaxOnline monthly access plans?

    No, FlexiCard can only be used to pay for selected prepaid services. You cannot use FlexiCard on other StarHub services such as StarHub Digital Cable, Mobile Postpaid services and MaxOnline monthly access plans.

    There will be no replacement for misplaced or damaged FlexiCards.

  1. Is there any hardware requirement for FlexiCard?

    No. However, there may be hardware requirements for the service(s) that you want to purchase with FlexiCard. We recommend that you visit
    www.starhub.com/broadband for the minimum requirements for each specific service before you purchase FlexiCard.
