As a mobile broadband service, MaxMobile Prepaid can be used anywhere in Singapore, out of your home or office, with purchase of any MaxMobile Prepaid data plans.
MaxMobile Prepaid service can also be used for roaming. However, MaxMobile Prepaid data plans are not applicable for roaming use and prevailing roaming data charges apply. Roaming charges will be deducted from the Main Balance.
To access MaxMobile Prepaid service, you would need our MaxMobile Prepaid SIM Card, a USB Modem and a laptop. You can purchase a MaxMobile Prepaid SIM Card and a USB Modem from any StarHub shops and all Exclusive Partner outlets.
If you currently already owned a USB Modem, you can configure the Access Point Name (APN) setting to "shppd" in order to access MaxMobile Prepaid. If necessary, the Dial Number for MaxMobile Prepaid is *99#.
Note: StarHub will provide the necessary support to configure the USB Modem sold by StarHub. For all other USB Modems, please refer to your respective USB Modem manufacturer for support.
For MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card user
Insert the MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card into your USB Modem and plug the modem into a laptop. You will be directed to our Self-Help portal.
For 1st-time user, you will need to register for a Gee! ID account and password before you can start to login. Simply click onto the link that indicate this and follow through the steps.
For MaxMobile Prepaid microSIM card user
Insert the MaxMobile Prepaid microSIM card into your internet device. You will be directed to our Self-Help portal.
You will be prompted to enter your MaxMobile Prepaid microSIM number and Password.

All MaxMobile Prepaid data plans will be charged fairly based on 24-hour clock cycle.
E.g. Customer activates a 3-Days Data Plan on 01-June-09 at 2000 hrs, his data access will expire on 04-June-09 at 1959 hrs, as illustrated in diagram below

If another data plan has been activated before the expiry of the existing plan, the expiry date will be extended, based on the plans purchased.
E.g. Customer activates a 3-Days Data Plan on 01-June-09 at 2000 hrs, and before the expiry of his current plan, he activated another 1-Day Data Plan. His data access will expire on 05-June-09 at 1959hrs, as illustrated in diagram below.

If I have already purchased a 60-day data plan and I purchase another 60-day data plan x days later (x<60 days), will my unused data from the first purchase be rolled over? And what is my new expiry date?
Yes, any unused data from the first purchase will be rolled over to the new expiry date. The new expiry date will be the 60 days from the date of the 2nd data plan purchased.
You will not be able to purchase a data plan of the wrong speed e.g. If you are using the 2 Mbps MaxMobile Prepaid SIM Card and try to purchase a 7.2 Mbps data plan, you will not be able to do so. Therefore, no credit will be deducted from your account main balance.
However, if you have purchased a wrong data plan of the wrong duration, we are sorry that we will not be able to refund you, likewise for all StarHub Prepaid services.
MaxMobile Prepaid data plans are not applicable for use while roaming. Likewise for all StarHub Prepaid services, we will not be able to refund any data plans activated before and during roaming.
