Terms and Conditions

1. This Contest and/or Promotional Giveaway is open to all existing Telescope Magazine subscribers. Each household subscribed to the Telescope Magazine shall be entitled to one chance to participate in each promotional giveaway and/or contest, subject to the specific participating terms for the contest and/or promotional giveaway set out in the Telescope Magazine. There is no limit to the number of contests and/or promotional giveaways each household subscribed to the Telescope Magazine may participate in.
2. Staff and immediate family members of staff of (i) StarHub; (ii) StarHub's associated publishers; and (iii) sponsors of the respective contests and/or giveaways are not eligible to participate in the contest and/or promotional giveaways.
3. The contest and/or promotional period can be found in the Telescope Magazine.
4. Participants must submit their personal particulars (Name as per I/C, NRIC No., Age, Home address, Contact details and Subscriber Customer Number) via email to Telescope@starhub.com.
5. Depending on the contest and/or promotion, 1 or more lucky winner(s) will be drawn from the list of qualifying participants at the end of each contest and/or promotion. 
6. StarHub reserves the right to use the names, pictures, photographs and/or likeness of the participants and their contest entries in such marketing or publicity materials at StarHub's sole discretion without notice to the participants, or require the participants to appear in any form of marketing or publicity activities.
7. All winners will be notified via an official letter from StarHub notifying him/her of the details of the prize collection process (“Notification Letter”). Each winner must produce
   1. original NRIC / FIN / Passport  showing the same residential address as the registered address for the Telescope Magazine subscription; and
   2. the email notification together with the enclosed Notification Letter (or original Notification Letter where it is sent from StarHub by post) for verification when claiming the prize. Any person (the "authorisee") collecting on behalf of the winner must produce
   3. the email notification together with the enclosed Notification Letter (or the original Notification Letter where it is sent from StarHub by post) with the authorization form duly completed and signed; and
   4. the winner's and authorisee's original NRIC / FIN / Passport.
8. The redemption of the prize shall constitute a purchase of goods or services by the person redeeming the prize from the merchant supplying the redeemed goods or services, and StarHub assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchant or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects in the redeemed goods or services. StarHub is not an agent of the merchant supplying the redeemed goods or services. Any dispute about the quality or performance shall be resolved directly with the merchant. The use of the redeemed goods or services is subject to such other terms and conditions which may be imposed by the merchant supplying the goods or services.
9. All prizes must be redeemed by the date stated in the Notification Letter. Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited and no correspondences will be entertained. All prizes shall not be exchangeable, transferable, redeemable or substituted for cash or otherwise, in all cases, whether in whole or part.
10. StarHub reserves the right to replace the prize with that of similar value.
11. StarHub reserves the right to draw reserve winner(s) to substitute any winner subsequently found to be disqualified. StarHub's decision is final and no correspondence and claims will be entertained.
12. StarHub reserves the right to redistribute any unclaimed prizes to other participants or donate any unclaimed prizes to the Community Chest or any other approved charitable organisation.
13. StarHub reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Participation in this draw shall constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and any amendments thereof.
