Cessation of Call Transfer Plus

 

Call Transfer Plus on Digital Voice Home (DVH) and Digital Voice Global (DVG) will cease on 28 April 2016. It is part of StarHub’s effort to ensure that our services stay relevant to our customers.

Call Transfer Plus is a Value Added Service (VAS) that allows a call to be transferred mid-way during a telephone conversation. It is currently offered free with DVH and it is one of the VAS under the payable DVG Value Pack Plus.

 

1. What is Call Transfer Plus and why is the service being ceased?

Call Transfer Plus is a VAS on DVH and DVG that allows the user to transfer a call mid-way during a telephone conversation.
(Note: This is different from Call Divert Plus which redirects all incoming calls to another telephone number)

It was offered FREE with sign-up to DVH before 1 February 2016. DVG customers will get this VAS if they subscribe to the Global Value Pack Plus bundle at $6.96/month (w/GST).

The service will be ceased as part of our effort to ensure that our services stay relevant to our customers.

2. Will the price for DVG Value Pack Plus be reduced since a VAS is being removed from it?

The price will remain unchanged as there are other VASes in the bundle that still provides great value to customers.

The revised Global Value Pack Plus @ $6.96 (w/GST) will consist of:
Caller Number Non-Display
Call Waiting
Call Divert
Voice Mail
Caller Non-Display

3. Is Call Transfer Plus subscription shown in the bill and how will I be informed?

The Call Transfer Plus subscription will no longer be shown in the bill. A notice on the cessation has been put up on our corporate website from 1 April 2016.

4. When will Call Transfer Plus be ceased?

Call Transfer Plus will cease on 28 April 2016. However, it will be discontinued immediately if you make any modification to your DVH or DVG service, e.g. barring of IDD, etc now.

You will not be able to subscribe to the VAS from 1 February 2016.
