Where is StarHub Go available?
Currently, StarHub Go is available in Singapore only. You will not be able to access it if you are overseas.

Getting Started

  1. Where can I go to watch StarHub Go?
    You can watch it on your laptop via www.starhubgo.com or on your mobile phone or tablet via the StarHub Go app that can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. What devices can I use to stream StarHub Go?
    StarHub Go is available on compatible internet-enabled devices.

    Compatible devices include:
    1. PC and MAC Internet browsers
      1. IE 9 or later
      2. Firefox 12 or later
      3. Safari 6 or later
      4. Chrome 18 or later

    2. iOS devices
      Support devices running iOS 8 or later. Jailbroken devices are NOT supported.

  1. What is the minimum required internet connection speed?
    The minimum we will require is a download speed of 500kbps. But of course, the faster the better, the better, the greater your viewing experience!

  2. Can I use StarHub Go on my jailbroken device?
    StarHub Go is not supported on jailbroken and rooted devices. Your information and payment transaction may not be secured on these devices. StarHub will not be responsible for the security of information transmitted to, from or through this application. We cannot guarantee full performance of the app on jailbroken devices.

  3. How do I start watching on StarHub Go?
    You will need a Hub iD and a subscription to either our Go Packs or Movies and TV shows for rent in order to start your journey on StarHub Go.
    To register for a Hub iD, you will need:
  • StarHub Account Number (Not required for Hub iD Lite)
  • Username of your choice
  • NRIC/FIN
  • Valid email address
  • An alphanumeric password of at least 8 characters

  1. Who is eligible for the first month free subscription offer?
    This one-time offer will be made available to any StarHub customers with an active subscription to our post-paid mobile plans and/or TV plans and/or broadband service.

  2. How do I cancel my StarHub Go subscription?
    It’s the hardest thing to say goodbye though we hope to see you again someday. To cancel your subscription, you may unsubscribe via StarHub's My Account Manager portal.
Using StarHub Go
  1. How do I start to view the programmes on StarHub Go?
    Once you’ve login to StarHub Go with your Hub iD, click on “My Library” to view all the content that you are entitled to watch.

  2. Is there a limit to how much I can watch on StarHub Go?
    Not at all, watch as much as you want! Time is your greatest enemy!

  3. Will there be any data charges on StarHub Go when accessing via my StarHub Mobile data service?
    StarHub postpaid mobile customers will be able to stream StarHub Go without incurring data charges. All you have to do is to set your mobile data access point (APN) to SHWAP via your mobile device network settings.

    Data charges at the prevailing rates may apply to mobile subscribers who access StarHub Go using other various forms of mobile data connections, including limitation 2G, 3G or LTE connections.

  4. Can I download videos from StarHub Go and watch them offline?
    Nope! StarHub Go is an online video streaming service and therefore downloading is not possible.

  5. How many devices can I login with my Hub iD to watch my subscribed content?
    You can register up to a maximum of 5 devices but streaming is allowed on only one device at any one time.
  6. How do I de-register my device?
    You can remove any of the registered devices by:
    1. Login to starhubgo.com and click on your name at the top right corner
    2. Select ‘My Devices’ in the drop-down menu
    3. Select the registered device you wish to remove and click ‘Remove Device’
    4. Once successfully removed, simply log in with your new device and our system will register it automatically.
  7. How often does StarHub Go update its content?
    Everyday, the team is on the lookout for content we believe you will love and of course we strive hard to bring it to you. Content is updated every month, or every week and maybe even every day. But don’t worry; we will definitely have your needs and wants well taken care of!
  8. Is StarHub Go content in HD?
    Yes, whenever available, we will provide the content in HD. However, picture quality may vary due to a number of factors which includes bandwidth and speed of connection.
  9. For the shows with Dual Sound, am I able to select / choose the audio feed that I want with StarHub Go?
    You will not be able to as StarHub Go only offers mono language.
  10. Am I able to access StarHub Go other than from a StarHub Mobile or StarHub Broadband connection?
    StarHub Go can be accessed as long as you have internet or data connection.
  11. How can I know the list of channels that I am entitled to watch on StarHub Go?
    You can go to ‘My Library’ on StarHub Go after login with your Hub iD. All your subscribed channels are displayed in this section.
Account & Billing
  1. How can I pay for StarHub Go?
    If you are a StarHub customer, you may charge it to your post-paid bill. Otherwise, you may use a credit card and sign up for a 30-day pass.
  2. Why does StarHub Go Packs cost more if I pay through iTunes on iOS devices?
    If you sign up on an iOS device (iPad or iPhone) and pay for your StarHub Go subscription with your iTunes account, there is an additional charge due to transaction cost associated with Apple.

    You may choose to sign up on starhubgo.com to avoid this additional charge.

  1. What is StarHub Go Value-Added Service (VAS)?
    StarHub Go VAS for StarHub TV customers offers streaming of your favorite TV shows on your mobile, tablet or laptop via www.starhubgo.com or via the StarHub Go app downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Where is StarHub Go available?
    Currently, StarHub Go is available in Singapore only. You will not be able to access it if you are overseas.

  3. What content is being offered by StarHub Go VAS?
    1. TV Channels: Watch your favourite StarHub TV channels^ on-the-go.
    2. On Demand Channels: Catch your subscribed On Demand channels such as HBO On Demand, Dunia Sinema On Demand, VV Drama On Demand and more on the go.
    3. Schedule: Browse 7 days worth of upcoming programmes and create reminders.

  4. Can I view all the channels / Add-on Packs that I have subscribed on my StarHub TV account via StarHub Go?
    No, only selected channels on StarHub TV are available on StarHub Go. For the list of channels, please refer to www.starhub.com/personal/tv/starhub-go/tv-wherever/stream-live-channels.html

  5. Can I view local free-to-air channels like Ch5 or Ch8 on StarHub Go?
    No, local free-to-air channels are not available on StarHub Go.

  6. What are the channels that I can watch on my StarHub TV subscription (i.e via set-top box) compared to StarHub Go?
    You can refer to www.starhub.com/personal/tv/starhub-go/tv-wherever/stream-live-channels.html

  7. I have subscribed to PPV / Euro 2016, (special event) etc on StarHub TV, am I able to watch these programs via StarHub Go?
    Where possible, we try to make it available on StarHub Go but there will be instances where we are not able to get the rights for the content.

  8. If I terminate a specific StarHub TV subscription/ pack/ channel, can I still view that programme on StarHub Go?
    You can subscribe to the various StarHub Go standalone packs to watch on StarHub Go, such as Go Select, Sports, Prime Football Pass, CATCHPLAY Unlimited, etc.

  9. What will happen to my StarHub Go VAS subscription if I discontinue my StarHub TV subscription?
    You will no longer be able to watch the channels that were tied to your StarHub TV subscription. However you can still continue to stream shows on the go when you subscribe to StarHub Go standalone packs, such as Go Select, Go Sports, Prime Football Pass, CATCHPLAY Unlimited, etc.

    If you have multiple accounts registered with us under your name, you will be entitled to subscribe to the StarHub Go VAS under only one of these accounts at any one time. In the case mentioned above, you would be entitled to sign up for one StarHub Go VAS under your name, linked to the StarHub TV account of your choice.
