This is a Value-Added Service (VAS) allowing mobile postpaid customers to watch selected StarHub TV channels 'live' via their mobile phone.

Who can use StarHub TV on Mobile?

This service is available to all StarHub Mobile Postpaid customers with handsets that support streaming via StarHub Data Postpaid/WAP.

How much is the subscription to StarHub TV on Mobile?

StarHub TV on Mobile is available on a monthly subscription basis at $26.75/mth (inclusive of GST). Or, customers can subscribe on a per-day basis at $1.00 (inclusive of GST) which allows unlimited access for 24 hours only.

Do I need to pay GPRS charges when I access StarHub TV on Mobile?

Subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to the live streaming channels (depending on whether they are on a monthly subscription or daily subscription) with no additional GPRS charges. However, prevailing roaming GPRS charges will apply if this service is used overseas.

How can I access StarHub TV on Mobile?

It depends on your handset. Before you sign up, please refer to the list of supported handsets to check if your handset can support the service.

Why can I only view 16 channels instead of the full suite of 33 channels for StarHub TV on Mobile on tablet devices?

There are upstream content rights issues when accessing content on tablet devices. We are constantly working with our content partners to extend rights to new technological devices such as tablets, and will continue to do so for the remaining 17 channels.

I can't seem to access the StarHub TV on Mobile WAP site. What could be the problem?

There are various reasons why you might not be able to access StarHub TV on Mobile.

Please check that you have activated data services on your mobile. Before you try again, do also check that your mobile phone GPRS settings are correct - such as selecting "StarHub Data Postpaid" as your access point.

What is the access point to be used for accessing the StarHub TV on Mobile service?

The "StarHub Data Postpaid" access point must be selected to use the service. You will not be able to access the service if you connect via Wi-Fi or "StarHub Internet" access point settings.

This is a Value-Added Service applicable to StarHub Prepaid customers using 3G Happy Prepaid SIM cards, including the MaxMobile Prepaid SIM card.

Yes, there will be a daily charge of $2.00. Upon successful subscription, you will be able to enjoy 24-hours of unlimited access to the available channels.

Do I need a minimum amount in my card’s main balance before I can subscribe to this service?

Yes, a minimum balance of $3 is required in your card’s main balance.

Will the subscription be automatically renewed?

No, once the 24-hours is up, users will need to re-subscribe if he/she would like to continue accessing the service.

Will there be a notification informing me that my subscription is up?

No, a notification will not be sent.

Can I access StarHub TV on Mobile while Roaming?

Yes, deduction of charges will be from the card’s main balance.

As long as your main balance is sufficient for deduction, you will still be able to subscribe for this service.

I tried subscribing to this service but I keep receiving the message “Sorry, this service is only applicable to StarHub Prepaid users using a 3G SIM card”. Why is this so?

This service is only applicable to StarHub Prepaid customers with a 3G Prepaid SIM, and you may be using an incompatible 2G Prepaid SIM.

Otherwise, you can manually select a 3G network before trying again.

As we launched the 3G Happy Prepaid SIM in mid-July 2009, cards purchased before that are likely to be 2G SIM cards.
