Voice Upsize and SMS Upsize

 
  1. Who is eligible for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes?
    Any new, re-contracting or existing StarHub Mobile postpaid customer on selected mobile plans will be able to sign up for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes.

  2. Which plans are eligible for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes?
    The mobile plans that are eligible to sign up for the Voice Upsize VASes are XS and S Plans on 2 year contract, SIM Only no contract and SIM Only 12 months contract. Both SharePlus parent and child lines are eligible to subscribe to Voice Upsize VASes.

    The mobile plans that are eligible to sign up for the SMS Upsize VASes are XS, S, M and L Plans on 2 year contract, SIM Only no contract and SIM Only 12 months contract. Both SharePlus parent and child lines are eligible to subscribe to SMS Upsize VASes.

    The Voice and SMS Upsize VASes are not applicable to SurfHub, HomeHub Go SurfHub 15 (and Add-on), HomeHub Go (and Add-on) and any mobile plans that are no longer offered by StarHub.

  3. What are the available Voice and SMS Upsize VASes that I can subscribe to? 
    Voice Upsize VASes are available on XS and S Plans. The list of available Voice Upsize VASes are:
    • Voice Upsize (300 mins) @ $6/month
    • Voice Upsize (800 mins) @ $10/month

    SMS Upsize VASes are available on XS, S, M and L Plans. The list of available SMS Upsize VASes are:
    • SMS Upsize (500 SMS) @ $3/month
    • SMS Upsize (1200 SMS) @ $6/month
    • SMS Upsize (2400 SMS) @ $10/month
       
  4. What are the charges that I will incur when I subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes? 
    There will be a one-time charge of $10.70 (incl. GST) when you subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes. The monthly recurring charge of the upsize VAS will be applicable as well.

  5. I did not take up the offer to subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes at point of sale during new/recontract order? Can I sign up after? 
    Yes, you can sign up for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes via My Account or My StarHub App using your Hub ID.

  6. Can I subscribe to 2 Voice Upsizes or 2 SMS Upsize VASes at the same time?
    No, the Upsize VASes are mutually exclusive. Hence if you are subscribed to Voice Upsize (300 mins), you will need to terminate that VAS before you can sign up for Voice Upsize (800 mins).

  7. Can I subscribe to 1 Voice Upsize VAS, 1 SMS Upsize VAS and 1 Data Upsize VAS at the same time?
    Yes, you can subscribe to 1 Voice, 1 SMS and 1 Data Upsize VAS at the same time according to your eligible plan. For example, if you are on the S plan, you can subscribe to Voice Upsize (800 mins), SMS Upsize (2400 SMS) and DataJump at the same time.

  8. I am a customer on a SharePlus child line. Can I sign up for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes? 
    Yes, SharePlus child lines are eligible to sign up for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes.

  9. My mobile line is a SharePlus parent line and I have subscribed to the SMS and Voice Upsizes. Can my SharePlus child line use the SMS and Voice Upsizes that I have subscribed to?
    No, the SMS and Voice Upsizes are for the SharePlus parent line to use and cannot be shared with the SharePlus child line. If the SharePlus child line wishes to subscribe to the SMS and Voice Upsizes, they can sign up via My Account or My StarHub App.

  10. I am a customer on a mobile plan that StarHub has sunsetted, such as 4G/ SmartSurf mobile plans. Am I eligible to sign up for Voice and SMS Upsize VASes?
    No, only customers on the XS and S plan can sign up for the Voice Upsize VASes, and customers on XS, S, M and L plans can sign up for the SMS Upsize VASes. All other mobile plans that StarHub is no longer offering will not be applicable to sign up for these VASes.

  11. I am a customer on the Lite Plan, why am I not eligible to subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes? 
    The Lite Plan is bundled with 100 SMS and 100 outgoing minutes per month, and it is catered for customers with basic SMS and Voice usages. For customers who require a larger plan bundle, we would recommend them to consider the Unlimited Weekend Plans instead. These plans are eligible to subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsizes.   12. Is there a contract period for the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes?
    Voice and SMS Upsize VASes are offered without any contract period or commitment.

  13. Can I unsubscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes?
    The Voice and SMS Upsize VASes are offered without any contract commitment. Hence you can choose to unsubscribe anytime without incurring any penalty charges. However kindly note that there will be a one-time charge of $10.70 when you subscribe to the Voice and SMS Upsize VASes again.
