1. What does the RoamEasy Monthly Plan offer?

The RoamEasy Monthly Plan offers StarHub Mobile postpaid customers with International Roaming subscription the following 2 data plans:

(i) 400MB data roam bundle at a monthly subscription of $40 (U.P. $72)

(ii) 1GB data roam bundle at a monthly subscription of $100 (U.P. $180)

RoamEasy monthly plan automatically connect you to the best available network, you do not need to remember which preferred overseas network for connection.

The data roam bundles can be used in any of these destinations

Any data roaming usage exceeding the relevant data roam bundle will be charged at $3 per MB.

Prevailing standard data roam rates shall apply for data roam usage on roaming operators in countries that are not covered under RoamEasy Monthly Plan.

2. How do I sign up for the RoamEasy Monthly Plan?

StarHub Mobile postpaid customers with International Roaming Subscription can sign up for the RoamEasy Monthly Plan via any of the following channels:

  • Visit StarHub Shop and Customer Service Centre
  • Call our customer service hotline at 1633

3. When can I start enjoying the RoamEasy Monthly Plan?

You can start to enjoy the RoamEasy Monthly Plan 1 hour after you receive the confirmation SMS from StarHub. The confirmation SMS message is as follows: "Thank you for signing up RoamEasy Monthly Plan. Minimum Service Period applies. Please allow 1 hour for the plan to be activated. For list of designated countries and details, please refer to starhub.com/roameasymonthly. Please keep this message for your easy reference.

Note:

  • Data roam usages incurred before RoamEasy Monthly Plan is activated will be charged at prevailing standard data roam rates.

4. Who can subscribe to the RoamEasy Monthly Plan?

StarHub Mobile postpaid customers who are subscribed to International Roaming service are eligible to subscribe for RoamEasy Monthly Plan.

Customers who subscribe to the following are not eligible to subscribe for RoamEasy Monthly Plan: (a) Pay-As-You-Roam service; or (b) RoamEasy Daily Plan.

5. How much savings can I enjoy with the RoamEasy Monthly Plan?

At prevailing standard data roam rate at $21/MB for most roaming operators, 400MB of data usage will normally add up to more than $8,000. If you have signed up for the RoamEasy Monthly Plan at a monthly subscription of $40 for 400MB data roam bundle, you can enjoy up to 99% in savings.

6. My bill cycle is on 1st of every month. How much will I be charged if I subscribe to the RoamEasy Monthly Plan on the 15th of the month?

The Monthly Subscription and data allowance on the relevant data roam bundle will be pro-rated according to your bill cycle in the 1st month of subscription. For example, if your bill cycle is on the 1st of the every month and if you've subscribed to the RoamEasy Monthly Plan - 400MB on the 15th of the month, you will be charged pro-rated monthly subscription at $20 for 200MB data roam bundle in the 1st month of subscription. For the subsequent months, you will be charged a monthly subscription fee of $40 for the 400MB data roam bundle.

7. Can I roll over my unused RoamEasy Monthly Plan’s data roam bundle for this month to the next month?

No, unused data allowance on the relevant data roam bundle for the current month cannot be rolled over to the next month.

8. Can I enjoy DataRoam Daily Unlimited Promotion after I subscribe to the RoamEasy Monthly Plan?

The RoamEasy Monthly Plan will take precedence over DataRoam Daily Unlimited Promotion in the supported countries.

9. How do I terminate my RoamEasy Monthly Plan subscription? 

You can terminate your RoamEasy Monthly Plan subscription via any of the following channels:

  • Visit StarHub Customer Service Centre
  • Call our customer service at 1633

Upon termination, you will be charged at the prevailing standard data roam rates for any data roam usage.

10. My bill cycle is on 1st of every month. How much will I be charged if I terminate the RoamEasy Monthly Plan on the 15th of the month?

The monthly subscription and data allowance on the relevant data roam bundle will be pro-rated according to your bill cycle in the month of termination. For example, if your bill cycle is on the 1st of the every month and if you terminate your RoamEasy Monthly Plan - 400MB on the 15th of the month, you will be charged a pro-rated monthly subscription fee of $20 for the 400MB data roam bundle in the month of termination.
