How to subscribe to DataTravel

Activating DataTravel via My StarHub app

Step 1: Open My StarHub app on your mobile device.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap [Roam Manager]

 

 

Step 3: If you have more than one mobile number under your account, tap on [Filter] and select the intended mobile number you wish to activate DataTravel.

 

 

Step 4: Go to [Manage Roaming Services].

 

 

Step 5: Ensure that you have either [Pay As You Roam] or [International Roaming] turned on.

 

 

Step 6: Choose a DataTravel plan of your choice and press submit.

 

 

Step 7: After you submit, DataTravel is now activated on your intended mobile number and you may now start surfing overseas.


You can also view and manage your DataTravel Usage via
My StarHub app

Step 1: Login to My StarHub app and go to [Roam Manager].

 

 

Step 2: Tap on [DataTravel Usage]

 

 

Step 3: Tap on [Filter] and select the intended mobile number you wish to check DataTravel usage.

 

 

Step 4: Your roaming usage for both DataTravel Asia Pacific/Global for the intended mobile number will be shown.

 

 

Step 5: If you wish to add on data, tap on [Add Data] and select the DataTravel plan you wish to add on.


Activating DataTravel via SMS

 

To activate DataTravel Asia Pacific:

  1. SMS DT2 to 6818 for DataTravel Asia-Pacific 2GB at $15 for 30 days
  2. SMS DT3 to 6818 for DataTravel Asia-Pacific 3GB at $20 for 30 days
     

To activate DataTravel Global:

  1. SMS DTG2 to 6818 for DataTravel Global 2GB at $40 for 30 days
  2. SMS DTG3 to 6818 for DataTravel Global 3GB at $50 for 30 days

 

If you wish to check your overseas data balance, SMS Check to 6818.

Activating DataTravel via My Account Manager

Step 1: Log in to My Account Manager.

 

 

Step 2: Click on [Manage my account].

 

 

Step 3: Click on [My Services].

 

 

Step 4: Scroll down to [Manage My Service] and click on the mobile number you wish to activate DataTravel.

 

 

Step 5: Scroll down to [Billed Value Added Services] and click on [Modify].

 

 

Step 6: Scroll down to [Add More Value Added Services] and select the DataTravel plan you wish to activate. After you click on [Add Service]. Your selected DataTravel plan will be activated and you can start surfing overseas.


How to check DataTravel balance via My Account Manager

Step 1: Go to [My Services], click on [Mobile] and select the mobile number that has DataTravel activated.

 

 

Step 2: Click on [Roaming Data Usage] and you will see the amount of data left.
