  1. What are the benefits for subscribing to the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    Apart from the 50% SIM Only discount, you will enjoy free double data for a continuous period of 12 months. After the 12 months contractual period, your free double data will be automatically removed. To continue enjoying your free double data, you may recontract to the same SIM Only plan with 12 months contract by visiting any of our StarHub Shop and Exclusive Partner Outlets or log in to www.starhub.com/store to sign up.

  2. I am a CIS subscriber. How does the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract work?

    Apart from the free Caller Number Display and 50% SIM Only discount for 24 months, you will enjoy free double data for a continuous period of 12 months under contract. After the 12 months contractual period, your free double data will be automatically removed. To continue enjoying your free double data, you may visit any of our StarHub Shop and Exclusive Partner Outlets or call 1630 to recontract.

  3. Is there a contract period or minimum period of service for the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    Yes, there is a 12 months contract period where you will be entitled to enjoy free double data every month. However, if you wish to recontract to any other SIM Only plan with 12 months contract, you can do so and enjoy the free double data according to your new SIM Only plan. Your 12 months contract period will restart from the date you recontract.

  4. Who is eligible to subscribe to the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    All consumer and Corporate Individual Scheme ("CIS Subscribers") customers are eligible to sign up for the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract.

  5. I am an enterprise subscriber. Can I sign up for SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

  6. What are the applicable fees to sign up for SIM Only plans with 12 months contract for new subscribers?

    There is a one-time SIM activation charge of $37.45 and a one-time mobile service charge of $10.70 for all new subscriptions to our mobile service voice plans. Depending on your residence status and eligibility to apply for a mobile service, a deposit may be required during sign-up.

  7. Can I enjoy CIS Discounts, Hub Club Discounts or Subscription discounts with the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    The SIM Only plans with 12 months contract are mutually exclusive and NOT applicable with any other discounts or promotions, including but not limited to:

    • Hub Club Discounts
    • Corporate Discounts / CIS Discounts / Partner Plan Discounts (discount and free VASes)
    • Subscription Discounts

     

  8. I am currently a HubClub customer and had just subscribed to a SIM Only plan with 12 months contract. Will I get additional HubClub discounts?

    Mobile lines on SIM Only plans with 12 months contract will be eligible for Hub Club membership and will count towards the Hub Club mobile line count, however these lines will not be eligible for Hub Club discounts.

    Example:

    HubClub customer with 1 mobile (Line A), add on a new SIM Only plan with 12 months contract (Line B).

    Before adding SIM Only plan with 12 months contract:

    • Line A enjoys 15% HubClub discount

    After adding SIM Only plan with 12 months contract:
    • Line A enjoys 20% HubClub discount.
    • Line B will only enjoy SIM Only plan discount and not additional HubClub discount.

     

  9. I'm currently subscribed to the SIM Only 12 months contract plan on XL. Will I be eligible to get the $500 handset upgrade voucher?

    No. The $500 handset upgrade voucher is only available for subscribers on a regular priced XL plan with a 2-year contract commitment.

  10. I am an existing customer with a 2-year handset/ bill rebate contract commitment. Can I change to the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    No, the SIM Only plans are only available for customers without an existing handset / bill rebate contract commitment. You must complete the full 24 months of your contract commitment before you can choose to opt-in for the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract.

  11. I am a customer on the SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract, and I am still serving my contract. Can I recontract to the same SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract?

    Yes, you may recontract back to the same SIM Only 12 months' contract plan where your 12 months contractual period will restart from the date you recontract and you will not incur Early Termination Charges. In addition, you will enjoy the free double data accordingly till the end of your 12 months contract period.

  12. I am an existing customer on the SIM Only plan with no contract. Can I recontract to the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract?

    Yes, you can recontract to the SIM Only plans with 12 months contract anytime. Your 12 months contractual period will start from the date you recontract, and you will enjoy the free double data for the 12 months period according to your new plan.

  13. I am a customer on the SIM Only plan with 12 months' contract, can I change my plan during my contract period?

    To change plan, you may recontract to a different SIM Only 12 months' contract plan where your 12 months contractual period will restart from the date you recontract and you will not incur Early Termination Charges. In addition, you will enjoy the free double data accordingly till the end of your 12 months contract period.

  14. I am a customer on the SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract, and I am still serving my contract. Can I recontract to a 2-year contract mobile plan with handset subsidy?

    Yes, you can recontract to a 2-year mobile plan with contract commitment anytime during the 12 months contract without incurring any penalties. However the 50% SIM Only discount and the free double data from the SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract will be removed, and your monthly subscription charge will revert to the usual monthly price of the 2-year plans for Lite and XS/S/M/L/XL Plans.

  15. I am a customer on the SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract, and I am still serving my contract. Can I switch to a SIM Only plan with no contract?

    You must complete the full 12 months of your contract commitment, before you can choose to opt-in for the SIM Only plans no contract.

  16. I am a customer on the SIM Only Plan with 12 months contract and I am still serving my contract, but unfortunately need to terminate my line. Is there an early termination charge that I need to pay?

    Yes, early termination charge applies if you terminate your line before the contract commitment end date.

  17. Is there a limit to the number of SIM Only lines with 12 months contract that I can sign up for?
