1. I am currently holding on to a Galaxy Note7. What should I do?

Samsung recommends that customers power down their device immediately. Beginning 26 October 2016, Singapore customers will be able to exchange their Galaxy Note7 for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with a refund of the price difference between devices. 2. I want to return my Galaxy Note7. Can I get a refund and void my contract?

We will not be able to void your contract at the present moment. Beginning 26 October 2016, Singapore customers will be able to exchange their Galaxy Note7 for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with a refund of the price difference between devices. 3. Can I change my Galaxy Note7 to another handset?

4. Can I still purchase the Galaxy Note7?

No, sales of the Galaxy Note7 have been stopped as of 2 Sep 2016. As of 11 October 2016, Samsung has announced that it will no longer resume sale of the Galaxy Note 7.

5. What will happen to my SmartSupport VAS that I have signed up together with my Galaxy Note7?

A. Customers who have opted to exchange their Galaxy Note7 to the Galaxy S7 edge with Samsung will be able to continue the SmartSupport service without disruption.
B. Customers who have opted for a refund of their Samsung Galaxy Note7 device will have their SmartSupport subscription cancelled.
C. Customers who have not opt for an exchange or refund, will be able to continue the SmartSupport service without disruption. Note that with immediate effect, any service request for device replacement or swop will be fulfilled with a Galaxy S7 edge.
