Terms & Conditions - Prepaid Top Up Lucky Draw


  1. Eligibility and Promotion Details 
    1. This lucky draw promotion ("Promotion") commences on 1st October 2016 and ends on 30th November 2016 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period").
    2. Participants must be a StarHub Prepaid customer, and not have any outstanding bills with StarHub for any post-paid services during the Promotion Period and at the time of the draw.
    3. To be eligible for the Promotion, eligible customers must, during the Promotion Period, top-up to their StarHub Prepaid SIM via the following:
      1. DBS/POSB ATMs
      2. OCBC ATMs
      3. AXS Stations
      4. NETS Self-Service Machine
      5. SAM
      6. EZ-Link Kiosk
      7. DBS iBanking
      8. DBS PayLah!
      9. DBS SMS Banking
      10. Online Top-up (starhub.com/topup)
      11. Happy Prepaid App (VISA/MasterCard/eNets payment methods only)
      12. StarHub Mobile Postpaid Account
    4. To get one (1) lucky draw chance for the Promotion, eligible customer must, during the Promotion Period, top up $10 to their StarHub Prepaid SIM.
    5. To get six (6) lucky draw chances for the Promotion, eligible customers must, during the Promotion Period, top up $20 or more per transaction to their StarHub Prepaid SIM.  
    6. (each a “Participating Transaction”).
    7. Eligible customers who perform a Participating Transaction  during the Promotion Period will be automatically included in the Promotion when the top-up is made.
  2. Draw and Winners 
    1. StarHub will carry out a draw at the end of the Promotion Period and select 15 winners. (“each a “Winner” and collectively the “Winners”)
    2. All Winners will be announced on StarHub’s website within four (4) weeks from the end of the Promotion Period.
  3. Prizes 
    1. There will be ten (10) sets of  Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Handset or five (5) sets of Samsung Galaxy Tab S Tablet.
    2. Each Winner will receive a Samsang Galaxy S6 Edge Handset or Samsung Galaxy Tab S Tablet ("Prize") at random.
    3. StarHub reserves the right to change the Prize or substitute the Prize with other items in its sole and absolute discretion.
    4. StarHub makes no warranty whatsoever as to the Prize, including without limitation the availability, quality, and fitness for purpose or the value of Prize.
    5. StarHub reserves the right to redistribute any unclaimed Prizes to other participants or donate any unclaimed Prizes to the Community Chest or any other approved charitable organization.
    6. The Prizes or any part thereof, are not transferable, exchangeable, and redeemable or substituted for cash or other benefits. 
  4. Collection 
    1. Winners will be notified via phone/SMS and Winners shall proceed to StarHub Green for collection of Prize, unless otherwise stated by StarHub.
    2. Winners who are not contactable within 3 consecutive working days shall be disqualified.
    3. Prizes must be redeemed in accordance with the instructions conveyed by StarHub.
    4. If a Winner fails to collect a Prize by the deadline specified by StarHub, the Winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.
    5. Each Winner will be required to sign an acknowledgement form when collecting the Prize. 
  5. Personal Data 
    1. StarHub will need to collect and use participants’ personal data, as well as disclose their personal data to StarHub’s partners, to facilitate participation in the Promotion. Such personal data may include without limitation a participant’s name, telephone number, email address, personal identification or passport number, as well as his picture, photographs or likeness.
    2. StarHub and its partners reserve the right to use the names, pictures, photographs or likeness of any participant or Winner in its marketing, publicity or promotional materials at StarHub's sole and absolute discretion without notice to the participant or Winner, or require any participant or Winner to appear in any form of marketing, publicity or promotional activities. StarHub may also use the personal data to conduct analysis on the participant’s use of StarHub’s products and services so as to improve, review, develop and efficiently manage the products and services offered to StarHub’s customers.
    3. By participating in this Promotion, participants consent to StarHub or it partner’s collection, use and disclosure of participants’ personal data for the purposes and in the manner described above.

  6. General 
    1. This lucky draw is organized by StarHub. Employees and agents of StarHub engaged in connection with the development or operation of the lucky draw are not eligible to participate in the lucky draw. 
    2. StarHub's decisions in relation to the Promotion and the Winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In the event of a dispute, any individual’s entitlement to participate in the draw and any participant’s entitlement to the Prizes shall be subject to the sole discretion and final determination of StarHub.
    3. StarHub is not responsible to any Winner for the redemption of the Prizes. StarHub shall not be liable to any Winner for damages, losses, costs or expenses, lost profits, revenue, business or anticipated savings suffered or incurred by any Winner arising out of or in connection with the redemption, possession and/or use of any Prize.
    4. StarHub reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Participation in this Promotion will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and any amendments thereof
    5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
