Thai Cuisine with Ian Kittichai
Asian Food Channel’s Chef Ian Kittichai was in town on 4 April 2015 to share tips on cooking delectable Thai delicacies with his ‘LIVE’ cooking demonstration. 15 lucky winners were able to take pictures with Chef Kittichai and get an autographed recipe book.
Learning to cook with Rachel Khoo
BBC Lifestyle's Rachel Khoo, from the Rachel Khoo's Kitchen Notebook series of cooking programmes, came to town in November 2014 to show us how to create two of her favourite dishes - Pistou Soup and Coconut Chocolate Truffles. 50 of her biggest fans were invited to the event and got to watch her cook, ask her all the questions they had and even assist her in her demonstration.
Cook with Chef Bal Arneson
Brought to you by StarHub and Asian Food Channel, 11 lucky StarHub winners brought two of their friends to join them in a personal cooking session with Chef Bal Arneson on 10 August 2013. They had the opportunity to learn how Chef Bal used her favourites spices for cooking and watched her 'live' cooking demonstration. Customers had a once in a lifetime experience of cooking along with the chef and having fun together.
Hubalicious took a different route in 2013 by becoming a public event. Held on 2 & 3 November at PasarBella, this food event saw Celebrity Chefs like Willin Low from Asian Food Channel, Eric Lanlard from BBC Lifestyle, Chef Corner Junior from now TV On Demand, the Fabulous Baker Brothers from TLC and George Young from DIVA. They conducted 'LIVE" cooking demonstrations and food tasting for the lucky customers.
The Heritage Food Trail: Food lovers are brought on an intimate epicurean journey with four of their favourite TV celebrity chefs from StarHub TV’s quartet of food and lifestyle channels.They are: Food Network Asia’s Aarti Sequeira, TLC’s Bob Blumer, Asian Food Channel’s Emmanuel Stroobant and BBC Lifestyle’s Rachel Allen.
