You won’t miss an important missed call again. Local Missed Call Alerts service sends you SMS alerts with the number of the caller you missed. Simply, receive it and return the call. This is a complimentary service for StarHub Mobile Postpaid customers.

How To Use Local Missed Call Alerts


You will receive Local Missed Call Alerts when:

  • You have a missed call from a single calling party.
    Example:
    (From) 9XXXXXXX: “U hv missed call(s) fr 9XXXXXXX(13:50). This is a free service from StarHub.”
  • You have multiple missed calls from the same calling party.
    Example:
    (From) 9XXXXXXX: “ U hv missed call(s) fr 9XXXXXXX (20:15). This is a free service from StarHub.”
  • You have missed calls from different calling parties.
    Example:
    (From) StarHub: “ U hv missed call(s) fr 9XXXXXXX (11:40); 6XXXXXXX (14:30). This is a free service.”

Local Missed Call Alerts will not be triggered when:

  • the missed call is not a Singapore-originating call.
  • the missed call is from a payphone, PABX (hunting line) or when the calling party has activated Caller Number Non-Display.
  • your phone is switched off or out of the network coverage range for more than 48 hours.
  • you have activated Call Divert for all your calls to another number.
  • you have activated voicemail service.
  • you are not a StarHub postpaid customer.


How to De-activate or Re-activate Missed Call Alerts:

  • By sending an USSD request
  • By sending an SMS request


Via USSD
To De-activate: Dial *100# and press Send
To Re-activate: Dial *101# and press Send

Note:

  • No charges will be incurred when sending a USSD command in Singapore and overseas.
  • However, the USSD mode is only available overseas where it is supported by the overseas network providers.


Via SMS
To De-activate: SMS <deactivate> to 2828.
To Re-activate: SMS <activate> to 2828.

Note:

  • When de/re-activating via SMS in Singapore, the usual price of 5.35 cents applies after the free bundled SMS is used up.
  • When de/re-activating via SMS while overseas, the overseas operators' roaming SMS charges will apply, in addition to the usual 5.35 cents after the free bundled SMS is used up.
