Samsung Concierge FAQ

With effect from 31 January 2018, we will no longer be offering the sales of Samsung Concierge.

  1. Can I terminate my Samsung Concierge service?

    No. Do note that the original one-time fee will not be pro-rated or refunded to you.

     

  2. What will happen to my Samsung Concierge service in the event that my StarHub mobile postpaid line is terminated/suspended/ transferred to another party?

    Your Samsung Concierge will be terminated automatically and you will not be able to enjoy any of the benefits.

     

  3. Will I get a refund if I did not use any of the services offered under the Samsung Concierge?

    No. The one-time payment cannot be refunded.

     

  4. What is the Samsung Concierge Hotline?

    The 24-hour hotline for Samsung Concierge is 1800-SAMSUNG (1800-726 7864).

 

Early Recontract Fee Waiver with Samsung Concierge
  1. What do I need to do to enjoy the Early Recontract Fee Waiver?

    To enjoy Early Recontract Fee Waiver with Samsung Concierge, you must fulfill the following conditions:

    • Recontract to a new 24-month voice contract with purchase of a new Eligible Purchase Device.
    • Return your Samsung Concierge registered device in good condition.

     

  2. What conditions does my device need to be in to enjoy Early Recontract Fee Waiver?

    Your device must fulfill the following conditions:

    • No cosmetic damage i.e no broken casing, screen, severe scratch, wear and tear or corrosion.
    • No liquid damage.
    • Device must be able to power on and off.
    • Any applicable phone lock (password or finger print) must be disabled.
    • Device must be able to charge.
    • When device is powered on, the display must be clear and fully visible.
    • Device does not have any missing or non-original parts.
    • Device includes original battery, power adaptor and cable.
    • Device is not registered on any applicable stolen or lost property database.

     

  3. What is StarHub doing to ensure my personal data is wiped from the device?

    We recommend that you reset your device to factory settings and remove all person data prior to returning your device at StarHub. Our vendors will be performing another device reset using professional software to ensure your personal data is wiped from the device.

     

  4. Will StarHub refund any residual value of my device above the $300 Early Recontract Fee Waiver?

    No, StarHub will not recognize any residual value of the device beyond the $300 Early Recontract Fee Waiver.

     

  5. Can I enjoy a refund if I do not utilize the Early Recontract Fee waiver of Samsung Concierge?

    The original one-time fee will not be pro-rated or refunded to you.

     

  6. Where can I enjoy the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit?

    You can utilize the Samsung Concierge Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit at StarHub Shops and selected Exclusive Partners. The Samsung Concierge Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit is NOT available for the StarHub Online store, at Roadshows and the following Exclusive Partners: CTS, Courts and Telestation Infocomm.

     

  7. Can I use a replaced or swapped Samsung Galaxy S7/7edge device to enjoy the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit?

    Yes, you can.

     

  8. Can I utilize the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit and Hub Club Annual Upgrade concurrently?

    No, the Early Recontract Fee Waiver and Hub Club Annual Upgrade is not stackable.

     

  9. Can I utilize the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit with my recontract voucher?

    No, the Early Recontract Fee Waiver and recontract vouchers are not stackable.

     

  10. Can I utilize the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit with Mall Shopping vouchers or StarHub Shop Vouchers concurrently?

    Yes, you can.

     

  11. Can I utilize Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit and purchase a new eligible new device on StarHub Monthly Equipment Installment?

    Yes, you can.

     

  12. Could I choose to trade in my device instead of utilizing the Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit?

    Yes, you can but this will be subject to the current trade in value of the device.

     

  13. Do I need to purchase a new Samsung Concierge subscription when I utilize Early Recontract Fee Waiver benefit.
