Accessing Teletext

  1. Why am I not able to view Teletext using my set-top box?
    Teletext is only supported via the composite output. Both the set-top boxes and TVs do not support Teletext via component or HDMI.

  2. How can I view Teletext?
    You would need to use a coaxial cable, connect one end of the cable to ‘TV Out’ on the set-top box and the other end to the TV RF interface. Once connected, change the TV input to TV and tune to any of the 3 free-to-air channels to access Teletext.

    Alternatively, you can select the composite video output using your TV remote control and tune to any of the 3 free-to-air channels to access Teletext. To ensure that your cable TV viewing is not disrupted, please be reminded to switch the TV input back to HDMI after your Teletext usage.
