MaxOnline

1. For individuals, customers must be at least 18 years old.
2. The available MaxOnline services are:
   1. MaxOnline Basic Plan that provides up to 3Mbps (3,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 512Kbps. MaxOnline Basic is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   2. MaxOnline Value Plan that provides up to 6Mbps (6,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 768Kbps. MaxOnline Value is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   3. MaxOnline Value Plus Plan that provides up to 6Mbps (6,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 768Kbps and free mobile broadband service that provides up to 1.5Mbps of download speed and upload speed of up to 384Kbps. MaxOnline Value Plus is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   4. 10Mbps Cable Access Plan that provides up to 10Mbps (10,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 1Mpps (1,000Kbps). 10Mbps Cable Plan is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   5. MaxOnline Express Access Plan that provides up to 25Mbps (25,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 1.2Mpps (1,200Kbps). MaxOnline Express is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   6. MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan that provides up to 25Mbps (256,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 1.2Mpps (1,200Kbps) and free mobile broadband service that provides up to 1.5Mbps of download speed and upload speed of up to 384Kbps. MaxOnline Express Plus is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   7. MaxOnline Premium Access Plan that provides up to 50Mbps (50,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 2Mbps (2,000Kbps). MaxOnline Premium is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   8. MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan that provides up to 50Mbps (50,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 2Mbps (2,000Kbps) and free mobile broadband service that provides up to 1.5Mbps of download speed and upload speed of up to 384Kbps. MaxOnline Premium Plus is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   9. MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan that provides up to 100Mbps (100,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 10Mbps (10,000Kbps). MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   10. MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan that provides up to 100Mbps (100,000Kbps) of download speed and upload speed of up to 10Mbps (10,000Kbps) and free mobile broadband service that provides up to 7.2Mbps of download speed and upload speed of up to 1.9Mbps. MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   11. MaxOnline FlexiSurf services that provide up to 6Mbps (6,000Kbps) of download speed, and upload speed of up to 256Kbps. MaxOnline FlexiSurf (By Day) is provided by StarHub Internet Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 199504131K). MaxOnline FlexiSurf (By Hour) is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z);
   12. and such other MaxOnline access plans that may be offered by StarHub from time to time subject to the terms stipulated by StarHub.
3. All MaxOnline services are available for access at cable-ready residential properties only. There will be no refunds of subscriptions in the event the customer's property is not cable-ready.
4. Landed Homeowners cannot exchange their entitlement for complimentary services (including the complimentary MaxOnline Express Access Plan) under the Landed Connection Plan in return for MaxOnline Basic Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan,MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan. To enjoy MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan Landed Homeowners must sign up for the MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan separately.
5. Landed Homeowners under the Subscription Commitment Plan may sign up for MaxOnline Basic, MaxOnline Value, MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan separately so long as the minimum subscription commitment is met.
6. Subject to StarHub's prevailing upgrade policy (available at www.starhub.com), customers who are currently on a lower tier plan are permitted to upgrade to a higher tier plan e.g.: A customer on a MaxOnline Basic Access Plan may convert to a MaxOnline Value Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan.
7. A service activation fee of $32.10 is chargeable for the activation of each MaxOnline Basic Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan.
8. A disconnection fee of $32.10 is applicable if a customer terminates the MaxOnline Basic Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan less then three months from the date of activation.
9. Service calls are chargeable at $53.50 per computer connection.
10. Installation service is chargeable at $53.50 per computer connection and is limited to the installation of cable modems with USB connection only. Alternatively, delivery of the cable modem is chargeable at $12.84 per trip to the same service address.
11. Customer may access MaxOnline services using one or more personal computers or Mac machines in a network environment. StarHub will, in its discretion, determine whether any arrangement, configuration or usage of MaxOnline services constitutes use within a network environment.
12. StarHub's special promotional rate(s) for cable modems (where applicable) are limited to one cable modem per MaxOnline access plan only. Special promotion rate(s) for cable modems are not applicable to MaxOnline FlexiSurf customers.
13. All cable modems and hardware connected to the cable modems, which are obtained or purchased by customers to access MaxOnline services must be certified or type-approved by StarHub and the relevant regulatory authority.
14. Type-approved cable modems can be purchased from StarHub or any of its authorised resellers/preferred partners for MaxOnline. Each cable modem will be assigned an unique MAC ID.
15. StarHub will not be responsible for any defects in the cable modems or if applicable, any hardware which customers may have connected to the cable modem. Any cable modem or if applicable, hardware purchased is covered under and subject to the terms of warranty from the relevant manufacturer.
16. StarHub will not be held responsible for any interruption, disruption to or deterioration in the quality, reliability or accuracy of the MaxOnline services or any technical issue which may arise from or in relation to any cable modem or hardware that customers may have connected to the cable modem.
17. Please consult the equipment manufacturer to maximise the use of the MaxOnline services, which will be provided to you based on our applicable terms and conditions.
18. Customers are advised to back-up all important files on their computers. StarHub will not be responsible for any corruption, loss or deletion of files.
19. The MaxOnline services are also subjected to StarHub's General Terms & Conditions and the Service Specific Terms & Conditions for MaxOnline at www.starhub.com.
20. All prices quoted are inclusive of 7% GST.
21. StarHub reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions (including pricing) at any time and without notice. Use of MaxOnline services will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and the amendments thereof.

*MaxOnline Plus Access Plans will no longer be available for new sign-up effective on 13 October 2012. The terms and conditions are still applicable for all existing customers currently on these plans.
^MaxOnline Basic and Value Access Plans will no longer be available for new sign-up effective on 21 February 2013. The terms and conditions are still applicable for all existing customers currently on these plans.
^^MaxOnline Express speed boost to 25Mbps will be effective on 18 February 2013.

MaxOnline Plus Plans

1. MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan is only available for subscription to NRIC/FIN registered customers.
2. MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan and the free Mobile Broadband service must be registered under the same NRIC/FIN.
3. MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan is available for new sign ups or recontract for existing MaxOnline Surflite Access Plan, MaxOnline Basic Access Plan, MaxOnline Value Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Access Plan customers who are not on any promotional contracts.
4. A StarHub 3G SIM Card (USIM) is required in order to enjoy the Free Mobile Broadband service.
5. For new sign ups of free Mobile Broadband service under the MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus plan, a SIM card charge of $37.45 applies.
6. MaxOnline Value Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Express Plus Access Plan, MaxOnline Premium Plus Access Plan or MaxOnline Ultimate Plus Access Plan must be active to be eligible to enjoy the free Mobile Broadband service.
7. Free Mobile Broadband service will be registered under the same account if customer already has existing mobile line and may be affected by non payment of mobile line subscription charges.
8. Free Mobile Broadband service is only offered as a data plan and would not be available as a Value Added Service (VAS).
9. Free Mobile Broadband service will not be available for sign up as a standalone data plan, but may be converted to a MaxMobile plan.
10. Free Mobile Broadband service is not eligible for any handset upgrade or any promotional handset offers that Starhub may offer unless otherwise stated.
11. Unlimited usage for the free Mobile Broadband service is only applicable for local data charges.
12. StarHub reserves the right to terminate the free Mobile Broadband service at any time and without notice. No customer will be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such termination.

*MaxOnline Plus Access Plans will no longer be available for new sign-up effective on 13 October 2012. The terms and conditions are still applicable for all existing customers currently on these plans.

MaxOnline Basic Access Plan

1. Customers on MaxOnline Basic Access Plan will not be eligible for free speed boost on StarHub partner sites.
2. Although the Service supports home networking, it is not recommended. It is also not recommended to use the Service for wireless surfing; customers are recommended to use a wired connection for better surfing experience
3. ^MaxOnline Basic Access Plans will no longer be available for new sign-up effective on 1 February 2013. The terms and conditions are still applicable for all existing customers currently on these plans.

MaxOnline Value Access Plan

1. Customers on MaxOnline Value Access Plan will not be eligible for free speed boost on StarHub partner sites.
2. Although the Service supports home networking. It is also it is recommended that MaxOnline Value is connected to not more than two PC computers for a better surfing experience.
3. ^MaxOnline Value Access Plans will no longer be available for new sign-up effective on 1 February 2013. The terms and conditions are still applicable for all existing customers currently on these plans.

MaxOnline FlexiSurf

1. These terms & conditions apply to MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Hour and MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Day.
2. The usage credits shall commence from the date and time of purchase of the MaxOnline FlexiSurf services.
3. In the event of a top up of credits prior to the expiry of existing MaxOnline FlexiSurf usage credits, the top up period will commence from the date and time immediately following expiry of such existing MaxOnline FlexiSurf usage credits.
4. In the event of a top up of credits after the expiry of an earlier MaxOnline FlexiSurf usage credits, the top up period will commence from the actual date of top-up.
5. Unused periods of usage credits are not refundable and cannot be carried forward to the next usage credits period.
6. StarHub Reward points will not be awarded for the MaxOnline FlexiSurf services.

MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Hour

1. MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Hour is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z).
2. Credits can be purchased or topped up in a single block of 3 hours only.
3. Payment must be paid via credit card(s) only.
4. Usual price of the monthly minimum charge is $21.40. Promotional rate of $10.70 valid till 31 Dec 2009.
5. In cases of termination of service, all relevant charges will be calculated and billed to the credit card immediately. Minimum and maximum charges of $10.70 and $42.80 respectively, will be chargeable without pro-ration.
6. Any unutilised usage charges from the minimum monthly charge of $10.70 will not be carried forward to the next month and any credit left will be forfeited.
7. Actual charges for the month will be calculated at the end of every calendar month and be billed to the credit card.
8. A fee of $1.07 will be charged for the first-time registration of credit card and upon every change of registration of credit card.
9. Cable modem for MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Hour must not be provisioned for any MaxOnline monthly access plan or MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Day.
10. Customers using a voice-enabled cable modem (VeCM) for any monthly Digital Voice subscription plan will not be able to enjoy free weekend surfing upon activation of MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Hour.

MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Day

1. MaxOnline FlexiSurf, By Day is provided by StarHub Online Pte Ltd (Reg. No. 200501897Z).
2. The minimum period of usage credits for purchase or top up is 3 consecutive calendar days and the maximum period of usage credits is 25 consecutive calendar days.

MaxOnline FlexiSurf Free Broadband

1. Free broadband access, worth $10.70 per month, is valid till 31 December 2009.
2. Free access is applicable only to web-based services. Free access to client-based services is limited to MapleStory, Audition and Windows Live Messenger (limited to instant messaging only).
3. MaxOnline FlexiSurf only provides free broadband connection to access the services. All relevant charges required to activate, subscribe or utilise the services apply.
