StarHub TV Jazzes Up Chinese offerings with Introduction of Jiangsu Satellite Channel
Singapore, 26 July 2012 – Recognising the increasing demand for entertainment channels from China, StarHub TV will be bringing Jiangsu Satellite Channel (StarHub TV channel 830) closer to home! The channel launches on StarHub TV on 1 August 2012. All StarHub TV customers will get to enjoy Jiangsu Satellite Channel at no additional cost.
The addition of Jiangsu Satellite Channel will bring the total number of complimentary channels on StarHub TV to 12. Some of these complimentary channels include Bloomberg Television (Channel 708), E City (Channel 111/825) and SuperSports Arena (Channel 112/ 201).
Jiangsu Satellite Channel, a top-notch general entertainment channel from China, offers an excellent mix of programmes. Its programmes range from highly-rated variety shows, popular reality and drama series to award-winning daily news. The Mandarin channel will also offer Chinese subtitles for all its programmes.
Some of the key programmes that viewers can look forward to are, Perfect Match , a popular match-making show, Super Guess , a talkshow that invites contestants to guess the actual identities of one another, and News Eyes , in which news are reported based on their valuable insights and value to the public.

Viewers can also catch the channel out of their homes via the convenience of their smartphones, as a simulcast of Jiangsu Satellite Channel will be accessible on StarHub TV on Mobile. The channel will be made available on Internet TV at starhubtv.com through TV Anywhere1 at a later date. This allows viewers who are constantly on-the-move to be able to catch the exciting programmes showcased on the channel.
