Singapore, 27 September 2010 - Neil Montefiore, CEO of StarHub, has been named as one of the 100 most powerful people in the telecoms industry worldwide.

The list was compiled from nominations by worldwide readers of Global Telecoms Business — including CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives of the world’s major operators, telecoms vendors and industry organisations. GTB first ran its Power100 to mark the 100th printed issue of the magazine in 2008, and inclusion in the list has been coveted by executives throughout the industry.

“It’s certainly a great honour to be named as one of the 100 most powerful figures in the telecoms industry worldwide.  I would like to share this honour with all the dynamic teams I’ve worked with in the past 34 years, and I’m looking forward to more exciting challenges ahead for the industry,” said Neil Montefiore.

“We congratulate all the members of the GTB Power100 in 2010,” said Laurence Mackintosh, publisher of Global Telecoms Business.

Global Telecoms Business will publish its annual GTB Power100 list online on 30 September 2010, and in the September-October 2010 print issue of the magazine.
