Singapore, 2 November 2010 – Global Yellow Pages Limited (GYP) today announced that it has reached an agreement with StarHub, Singapore’s integrated info-communications provider, to offer a new range of ultra-high speed broadband services over the Next-Gen NBN to Singapore’s burgeoning small-medium enterprise (SME) market. This is the first time GYP is offering such info-communications services to their customers.

Mr Stanley Tan, Executive Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer of GYP said “more than just the largest publisher of telephone directories and a provider of classified directory advertising, GYP is focused on creating and expanding our services portfolio to offer new complementary services that will appeal to our core clientele in the SME sector. Our partnership with an industry leader like StarHub demonstrates our commitment to help our customers streamline their operations and lower their business costs, goals that have been the cornerstone of GYP’s business for over 40 years.”

Under the new partnership agreement, GYP will offer SMEs with StarHub’s Fibre 100Mbps (NextGen), Ethernet Local Link (NextGen) and Switched Ethernet (NextGen) services. In addition, GYP will bundle these offerings with other StarHub value-added services such as mobile voice and O.N.E. Phone (1) services, as well as GYP media solutions.

Said Mr Ng Long Shyang, StarHub’s Head of Sales and Marketing, “the Next-Gen NBN has given us better opportunities to service more SMEs in Singapore, now that we can effectively reach over 20,000 locations through the new ultra-high speed broadband network.  In order to leverage on this opportunity, we are pleased to collaborate with GYP, a company with deep roots in the SME community, in order to target and reach this business segment quickly and effectively.”
