, 2 May 2008 - StarHub, the Singapore carrier of the 20-member
consortium building the Asia-America Gateway (AAG) submarine
cable system, today announced the landing of the cable in
Singapore. This is the first time that StarHub lands a submarine
cable and manage a cable landing station in Singapore.
The 20,000km long cable system will provide
the first high-bandwidth optical fibre submarine cable system
linking the South East Asia region directly to the USA.
