Singapore, 20 April 2006 – StarHub, Singapore’s integrated info-communications provider, today announced the introduction of FlexiCard as another convenient pre-payment option for its pay-as-you-use MaxOnline FlexiSurf 2000 service and Games-On-Demand value-added service. Previously, these services could only be paid online via credit card.
Readily available at all StarHub Shops and Exclusive Partners’ outlets island-wide, FlexiCard comes with a stored value of S$15 and has a validity period of three years. There is no limit to the number of cards each customer can purchase from these retail outlets.
To start using FlexiCard, the customer simply scratches off the security foil to reveal the unique string code and enters this code at the respective secured sign-up webpage. Up to five cards can be combined for a single transaction. Any remaining value on the card can be used for the next transaction.

StarHub’s MaxOnline FlexiSurf 2000 is a pay-as-you-use broadband Internet access service with download speeds of up to 2 Mbps (Megabits per second). It is available at a daily rate of S$2.50 for a minimum of three and up to a maximum of 25 consecutive days of Internet usage. Hence, it is best suited for Internet users with the occasional need for broadband access, such as frequent travellers.
A value-added service for MaxOnline users, Games-On-Demand offers customers access to a library of more than 140 original popular PC games, saving them the hassle of visiting a PC game store and purchasing their games individually. This service is available for a monthly payment of S$10.50 to S$15.75.
