Heavenly King in town to promote drama on StarHub CableTV
Singapore, 1 December 2003 - Fans of Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok , mark 7 December 2003 on your diaries. The popular actor-singer will be in town to promote the telecast of his latest drama, Romancing Hong Kong, on StarHub CableTV!
Supported by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Romancing Hong Kong was filmed only this year, in the midst of the SARS period. Singapore is one of the first countries in the world to air the 24-part series. Romancing Hong Kong is also the first drama featuring Aaron Kwok since TVB’s Wars Of Bribery in 1996.
Romancing Hong Kong will debut on VV Drama (StarHub CableTV Channel 55) on 19 December, and be aired at 7pm on weekdays. The attractive cast also includes Chinese actresses Li Bing Bing and Han Xue, as well as Hong Kong actor Wong Hei.
Besides catching the drama on StarHub CableTV, the public can also download screensavers, desktop wallpapers, pictures and episodic synopses of Romancing Hong Kong at www.starhub.com/hubvillage. StarHub Mobile customers can also download related ringtones and MMS at $1.56 each (including GST).
Aaron Kwok is scheduled to arrive in Singapore via Flight SQ111 at 3.15pm on 6 December, Saturday. The public can catch the star at StarHub CableTV's roadshow at Plaza Singapura at 3pm on 7 December, Sunday. Aaron Kwok will not only sing for his fans, but will also be interacting with the crowd through onstage games. In addition, lucky fans will be able to get autographs from the singer-actor.
