Singapore, 14 January 2002 -- StarHub, Singapore’s innovative info-communications provider, has chosen REALVision Technology Ltd, the leading wireless technology provider in Hong Kong, to implement their REAL GPRSConfig v1.0 (known locally as PDA configuration software). This software allows user to quickly configure PDAs to access StarHub’s full suite of mobile data services (known as Gee!) with a GPRS phone via StarHub’s GPRS network. StarHub is the first wireless info-communications provider to adopt the REAL GPRSConfig solution in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since 7 December 2001, when StarHub launched its Gee! service, its customers have been able to use REAL GPRSConfig to enable their handheld devices to work together with GPRS mobile phones and enjoy high-speed wireless instant access to the latest news, information and Internet access via their PDAs.

To configure their phones, customers just ask for it via StarHub’s website and an SMS will be sent to their phone, which they just need to accept to configure their phones automatically without any complicated steps to follow.
