Terms & Conditions - Voice and/or SMS Upsize Value Added Service

Specific Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    1. The use of the Voice and/or SMS Upsize Value Added Service (“Voice and SMS VAS”) is subject to StarHub's General Terms & Conditions (for Consumer or Business, as applicable), these Specific Terms and Conditions and any other terms and conditions in relation to services that you have subscribed from time to time. You may view our terms and conditions at http://www.starhub.com.
       
  2. Eligibility Criteria
    1. The Voice and/or SMS VAS is available for new sign-ups, re-contract and existing StarHub Mobile postpaid customers on eligible mobile plans.
    2. You are eligible to subscribe to the Voice and/or SMS VAS if you hold any of the postpaid mobile standalone plan or SharePlus parent and dependent plan set out below:
      1. XS, XS SIM Only No Contract or XS SIM Only 12 Months Contract
      2. S, S SIM Only No Contract or S SIM Only 12 Months Contract
      3. M, M SIM Only No Contract or M SIM Only 12 Months Contract
      4. L, L SIM Only No Contract or L SIM Only 12 Months Contract
        (each an “Eligible Plan”).
    3. StarHub reserves the right to amend the list of Eligible Plans at any time by updating these terms and conditions.
       
  3. Voice and/or SMS VAS
    1. The Voice and/or SMS VAS available for each Eligible Plan to sign up is as follows:-
      1. Voice Upsize (300 mins) @ $6/month
      2. Voice Upsize (800 mins) @ $10/month
      3. SMS Upsize (500 SMS) @ $3/month
      4. SMS Upsize (1200 SMS) @ $6/month
      5. SMS Upsize (2400 SMS) @ $10/month
    2. You may subscribe to only 1 Voice Upsize VAS and/or 1 SMS Upsize VAS per Eligible Plan.
    3. The Voice and/or SMS VAS bundles cannot be shared with the SharePlus dependent plan.
    4. There is no minimum contract period for the Voice and/or SMS VAS. StarHub reserves the right to impose a minimum contract period at any time by updating these Specific Terms and Conditions.
    5. You are not eligible to subscribe for the Voice and/or SMS VAS with the following:-
      1. Lite Plans and XL Plans;
      2. SurfHub 12, SurfHub 15, SurfHub 18, SurfHub 24 Plans, HomeHub Go Plans, HomeHub Go SurfHub 15, and HomeHub Go add-ons plans;
      3. Customized plans that are offered to selected business customers; or
      4. Any other plans, discounts or promotions that are not specifically listed above.
         
  4. Fees and Billing 
    1. StarHub will charge you the stipulated monthly subscription fee for your Voice and/or SMS VAS per billing cycle. StarHub reserves the right to change its billing cycle as it deems fit.
    2. A one-time charge of $10.70 (inclusive of GST) will apply for each activation of the Voice and/or SMS VAS. 
    3. Local excess minutes and SMS charges will be billed to you if you have fully utilised all the minutes and SMS bundled in your Eligible Plan and in your Voice and/or SMS VAS.
    4. Upon commencement or termination of the Voice and/or SMS VAS during a billing cycle, monthly subscription charges and the Voice and/or SMS bundle will be pro-rated according to your billing cycle. 
    5. All unused minutes and SMS in the Voice and/or SMS VAS (including the minutes and SMS bundle in the Eligible Plan) in each billing cycle will be forfeited and will not be rolled over to the next billing cycle. 
    6. StarHub’s records shall be final and conclusive for charges and usage incurred.
       
  5. Termination
    1. If there is a change in the Eligible Plan, the Voice and/or SMS VAS will be terminated automatically. To re-subscribe to the service again, you will need to pay the one-time charge of $10.70 (inclusive of GST) for activation of the Voice and/or SMS VAS.
    2. StarHub reserves the right to discontinue all or any of the Voice and/or SMS VAS at any time without prior notice.
       
  6. General
    StarHub reserves the right to amend any part of these Specific Terms & Conditions. All amendments shall be posted on this website and shall take effect from the date that they are so posted.
