StarHub Friends Programme - Terms & Conditions


  1. The StarHub Friends Referral Programme (“Programme”) is valid until such time as shall be determined by StarHub in its absolute discretion.
  2. The Programme is open to individuals aged 18 and above who have registered with StarHub Community (“Referrer”).
  3. The Programme entails cash for Referrer for each successful referral.
  4. A referral will be considered successful when the new StarHub customer (“Referee”) submits the completed online application and successfully signs up for a new service with StarHub for any of the following services: Pay TV, Home Broadband, HomeHub, HomeHub Go and/or Mobile service (“Service(s)”).
  5. Upon the first complete successful referral, the Referrer will receive a StarHub Friends FEVO Prepaid MasterCard Card (“Prepaid Card”) within 7 business days.
  6. For every successful new StarHub Service(s) sign-up, the Referrer will be rewarded between S$30.00 to S$75.00, depending on the type of Service(s) signed up by the Referee, to be credited to the Referrer’s Prepaid Card within 90 days from the start date of the Service(s). The reward is subject to change without prior notice.
  7. The first 300 Referrers with successful referrals will receive an additional one-time incentive of $20.00 which will be credited to the Referrer’s Prepaid Card.
  8. The Prepaid Card shall not be transferable, exchangeable, redeemable or substituted for cash or other benefits.
  9. The Referrer consents to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal data by StarHub to process their membership in the Programme, and to administer their participation in the Programme, including disclosure of their details to the Referee.
  10. The Referrer agrees that they shall obtain all relevant consents, including in relation to personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, from the Referee prior to the referral.
  11. For the avoidance of doubt, the Referrer is not allowed to refer himself/herself as a Referee.
  12. In order for the Referrer to be eligible to receive the reward under the Programme, the Referee must:  (a) through the unique URL sent by Referrer, fill in their contact details at the web portal to express their interest in signing up for the Service(s); and (b) sign up for the Service(s).
  13. In the event that more than one Referrer refers the same Referee through the Programme, the first Referrer shall be the deemed the Referrer for the purpose of receiving the reward.
  14. In the event of loss or damage of Referrer’s Prepaid Card, EZ-link will impose an S$15 administration fee for the replacement card.  The amount will be deducted from the existing balance in the Referrer’s Prepaid Card.
  15. The Referrer shall indemnify StarHub and/or its affiliates against all losses, damages, claims and/or other liabilities suffered thereby arising from the provision of any false or wrong information to StarHub, the breach of any of these terms and conditions and their participation in the Programme.
  16. A Referrer will not acquire any right in any and all StarHub intellectual property and all such property will remain at all times with StarHub or its licensor(s).
  17. Employees of StarHub are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
  18. StarHub shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage in connection with the Programme, including any error in computing any changes, any breakdown or malfunctions in any computer system or equipment. StarHub assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete and/or illegible forms or any mode of communications.
  19. StarHub’s decision on all matters relating to the Programme is final, conclusive and binding.  No appeal or correspondence will be entertained or accepted by StarHub. StarHub shall not be obliged to give any reason or enter into any correspondence with any person on any matter concerning the Programme.
  20. Participation in the Programme will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  21. StarHub may from time to time:
    1. revise any of these terms and conditions; and/or
    2. withdraw, suspend or change the Programme.
    3. StarHub shall endeavour to notify the Referrer of such revisions through written notice, electronic mail, the StarHub website or such other mode of communications as StarHub may deem appropriate. The Referrer agrees that the display of the revised terms and conditions on the StarHub website will constitute notice of the changes. The Referrer’s continued participation in the Programme will constitute acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
  22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and parties agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
