Terms & Conditions - Recurring Credit Card Payment Arrangement.

 

  1. The information given in the application (“Application”) for recurring payment of StarHub bills by credit card (“Recurring Payment Arrangement”) will supersede all relevant information relating to the relevant StarHub account holder (“Customer”) or credit/debit cardholder (“Cardholder”) StarHub has in our systems.
  2. By signing up for the Recurring Payment Arrangement, the Customer and the Cardholder agree to StarHub debiting the relevant credit/debit card for all charges billed to the relevant StarHub account as nominated. This Recurring Payment Arrangement will continue to be in effect until Customer notifies StarHub in writing to terminate it, or StarHub receives a notification from the Cardholder’s card issuing bank (“Bank”). StarHub reserves the right to terminate the Recurring Payment Arrangement at any time in our discretion. For approved new Applications, this authorisation will take effect from the Customer’s next billing cycle.
  3. A system generated letter of notification will be sent upon approval.
  4. The Customer shall pay any current outstanding balance via other payment methods until the Recurring Payment Arrangement takes effect.
  5. The Customer will see in their bill “Total outstanding balance will be deducted from your Credit Card <account no.> on <due date>.” once the Recurring Payment Arrangement is in effect.
  6. If we are unable to make the deduction or settlement with the Bank for any reason whatsoever, the Customer shall remain liable to StarHub for the charges under the StarHub Account(s) associated with the Payment Codes(s)/Account Number(s)/Identification Number on the Application. Further, we will not be liable to the Customer or the Cardholder for any charges incurred on the credit/debit card as a result of our deductions as authorized herein.
  7. In the event of unsuccessful recurring credit/debit card deduction by the Bank, the Cardholder shall contact the Bank for further clarification.
  8. The Recurring Payment Arrangement will be terminated if the deduction is unsuccessful with the same rejection reason from the Bank for two consecutive billing cycles.
  9. In the event that the StarHub bill is paid by a consenting third party Cardholder, StarHub shall take written instructions from the Customer only, including but not limited to payment instructions and services subscribed to.
  10. If you send the application form to StarHub by email, the Customer is responsible for ensuring the security of the application form in transmission and StarHub shall have no liability in respect thereof.
  11. By submitting this Application, the Customer and the Cardholder agree to StarHub, the Bank and StarHub’s agents (including but not limited to StarHub’s acquiring bank) collecting, using and disclosing their personal data for the purposes of processing and administering the Recurring Payment Arrangement, including arranging payments and refunds.
  12. StarHub refers to StarHub Ltd and/or the relevant Affiliate providing the particular service, as set out in the StarHub Consumer Terms & Conditions.


Terms & Conditions - Lucky Draw

    Eligibility

  1. The e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw is applicable to all StarHub customers residing in Singapore (“Customer”).

  2. The e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw will run from 01 June 2017 to 30 November 2017, both dates inclusive (“Qualifying Period”).

  3. Participants must have at least one active service with StarHub and not have any outstanding amount with StarHub during the Qualifying Period and at the time of the draw to qualify for the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw.

  4. Participants are entitled to ONE (1) chance each at e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw for each My StarHub e-bill sign-up during the Qualifying Period.

  5. Only NEW participants who sign up for My StarHub e-bill during the Qualifying Period are entitled to ONE (1) chance at e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw. New participants refer to customers who have not been on My StarHub e-bill since 1 January 2017.  If a participant subsequently cancels their sign-up and then signs up again during the Qualifying Period, that participant is only entitled to one (1) chance for their first sign-up.

    Eg: If a customer signs up for e-bill in the month of June 2017, he/she is eligible to participate in the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw to be held in the month of July 2017 only.

  6. Participants are entitled to ONE (1) chance each at the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw for every recurring payment mode (e.g. credit card, GIRO) sign-up during the Qualifying Period.

    Eg: If a customer has TWO (2) Active Billing Accounts and signs up for recurring payment mode for both of the billing accounts in the month of June 2017, he/she is entitled to TWO (2) chances at the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw to be held in the month of July 2017 only.

    Eg: If a customer has TWO (2) Active Billing Accounts and signs up for recurring payment mode for ONE (1) of the active billing accounts in the month of June 2017, he/she is entitled to ONE (1) chance at the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw to be held in the month of July 2017 only.

  7. Only NEW participants who sign up for recurring payment during Qualifying Period are entitled to ONE (1) chance at e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw. New participants refer to customers who have not been on recurring payment (e.g. credit card, GIRO) since 1 Jan 2017.  If a participant subsequently cancels their sign-up and then signs up again during the Qualifying Period, that participant is only entitled to one (1) chance for their first sign-up.

    Eg: If a customer signs up for recurring payment mode in the month of June 2017, he/she is eligible to ONE (1) chance at the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw for the month of July 2017 only.

  8. Participants who sign up for both My StarHub e-bill and Recurring Payment mode during the Qualifying Period are entitled to THREE (3) chances at e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw.

    Eg: If a customer is having ONE (1) active billing account and signs up for both e-bill and recurring payment mode in the month of June 2017, he/she is entitled to THREE (3) chances at e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw to be held in the month of July 2017 only.

  9. Employees of StarHub, their immediate families, as well as commercial customers and bulk subscription customers, are NOT eligible to participate in this e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw.

  10. Participants must opt in My StarHub e-bill and/or Recurring Payment during the Qualifying Period to qualify for the e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw. Participants who are already on My StarHub e-bill before 1 January 2017 is not eligible for e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw. Participants already on recurring payment mode before 1 January 2017 are not eligible e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw.

  11. After the end of every monthly qualifying period, Winners will be picked from the eligible participants through a Lucky Draw (“Winners”).

  12. Each Winner will receive ONE (1) Prize. Each participant may only win ONE (1) Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, a Winner of e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw shall not be eligible to participate in a subsequent e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw.

  13. e-bill Monthly Lucky Draw Prize. There shall be ONE (1) Winner per month of the e-bill Handset Lucky Draw Prize which comprises of the below item at the end of every month (June 2017 – December 2017)

  14. Winners will be notified via email and official letter within 10 working days after the draw activities completed.

    Collection


  15. The Prizes must be redeemed in accordance with the notification email or letter from StarHub.

  16. If a Winner fails to collect the Prize by the deadline specified by StarHub, the Winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and no further correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances.

  17. Each Winner shall also be required to sign an acknowledgement and release form in respect of his or her use of the Prize, as a condition to his or her receipt of the Prize.

    Personal Data


  18. We will need to collect and use participants’ personal data, as well as disclose their personal data to our partners, to facilitate their participation in the Lucky Draw. Such personal data may include without limitation a participant’s name, telephone number, email address, personal identification or passport number, as well as his picture, photographs or likeness.

  19. StarHub and its partners reserve the right to use the names, pictures, photographs or likeness of any participant or Winner in its marketing, publicity or promotional materials at StarHub's sole discretion without notice to the participant or Winner, or require any participant or Winner to appear in any form of marketing, publicity or promotional activities. StarHub may also use your personal data to conduct analysis on your use of our products and services so as to help us improve, review, develop and efficiently manage the products and services offered to you.

  20. By participating in this Lucky Draw, you consent to our and our partners’ collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes and in the manner described above.

    Prizes


  21. The Winners acknowledge and agree that StarHub makes no warranty whatsoever as to the Prizes, including without limitation the availability, times, quality, fitness for purpose or value of the Prizes.

  22. StarHub shall not be deemed to be the seller or transferor of the Prizes. The Prize shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by the relevant sponsors, merchants and/or suppliers of the Prize (“Prize Terms”). Each Winner agrees to be bound by such Prize Terms.

  23. StarHub reserves the right to redistribute any unclaimed Prizes to other participants or donate any unclaimed Prizes to the Community Chest or any other approved charitable organization.

  24. The Prizes, or any part thereof, shall not be transferable, exchangeable, redeemable or substituted for cash or other benefits.

  25. StarHub reserves the right to replace any Prize with another of equal or higher value without prior notice.

    Others


  26. StarHub's decisions on the Lucky Draw and the Winners shall be final and no correspondence will be entertained under any circumstances. In the event of a dispute, any individual’s entitlement to participate in the Lucky Draw and any participant’s entitlement to the Prizes shall be subject to the sole discretion and final determination of StarHub.

  27. StarHub is not responsible to any Winner for the redemption of the Prizes. StarHub shall not be liable to any Winner for damages, losses, costs or expenses, lost profits, revenue, business or anticipated savings suffered or incurred by any Winner arising out of or in connection with the redemption of any Prize.

  28. StarHub reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice. Participation in this Lucky Draw and continued use of StarHub services will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and any amendments thereof.

  29. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and parties agree to be bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.


Terms & Conditions - Grand Lucky Draw

   Eligibility

  1. The e-bill Grand Lucky Draw is applicable to all StarHub customers residing in Singapore (“Customer”).

  2. The e-bill Grand Lucky Draw will run from 01 January 2017 to 31 December 2017, both dates inclusive (“Qualifying Period”).

  3. Participants must have at least one active service with StarHub as of 31 December 2017 and not have any outstanding amount with StarHub during the Qualifying Period and at the time of the draw to qualify for the e-bill Grand Lucky Draw.

  4. Participants are entitled to ONE (1) chance each at the e-bill Grand Lucky Draw for every recurring payment mode (e.g. credit card, GIRO) sign-up during the Qualifying Period.

  5. Participants who as of 31 December 2017 have either My StarHub e-bill or Recurring Payment mode (e.g. credit card, GIRO) will get ONE (1) chance at the e-bill Grand Lucky Draw.

  6. Participants who as of 31 December 2017 have both My StarHub e-bill AND Recurring Payment mode (e.g. credit card, GIRO) will get THREE (3) chances at the e-bill Grand Lucky Draw.

  10. Grand Prize There shall be FIVE (5) Winners of the Grand Prize, which comprises $2,000 worth of CapitaVouchers each.
