Terms & Conditions - Mobile Data Plans

 

  1. StarHub Mobile postpaid customers can subscribe to MaxMobile Lite, MaxMobile Value, or MaxMobile Premium as a value-added service ("VAS"), or subscribe to MaxMobile Lite (6GB), MaxMobile Elite (2GB), MaxMobile Elite (6GB) and MaxMobile Elite (11GB) as a DataPack.
  2. MaxMobile Lite is pre-activated on PowerValue mobile plans. MaxMobile Lite subscription charges are on a pay-as-you-use basis, at 1.07cents/KB. Customers can choose to change to any other MaxMobile Data VAS plan if they wish to get bundled data with monthly subscription. Find out more about other MaxMobile Plans now!
  3. There is a one-time registration fee of $10.70 (incl. GST) for subscribing to any of the data plans.
  4. The subscription charges will be billed on a monthly basis and charged to the customers' StarHub Mobile bills.
  5. StarHub Mobile postpaid customers can change their data plan subscription if their accounts are not suspended, blacklisted or with outstanding balances.
  6. StarHub's Hub Club discount shall not be used in conjunction with any discount, promotional offer or similar scheme as set out herein, unless otherwise permitted by StarHub in its absolute discretion.
  7. Any change in data plans may result in a temporary disruption of service and/or loss of data and StarHub shall not be liable for any liability arising from or in connection with such service disruption or loss of data.
  8. The maximum cap for charges at:
    1. $96.14/month for MaxMobile Lite VAS, or
    2. $85.60/month for MaxMobile Value VAS, MaxMobile Premium VAS, MaxMobile Elite (2GB), MaxMobile Lite (6GB) DataPack, MaxMobile Elite (6GB) and MaxMobile Elite (11GB) DataPack. (With effect from 1 April 2014, excess local data charges will be capped at promotional rate of $85.60/month (U.P. $168/month) for new, re-contracting and existing customers not in a contract.   9. StarHub reserves the right to terminate any MaxMobile promotion at any time without further notice. No customer will be entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such termination.
  10. StarHub's determination shall be final in any dispute concerning the MaxMobile promotion between StarHub and the customer.
  11. StarHub's Consumer General Terms & Conditions for Info-communications services and Service Specific Terms & Conditions for Mobile and Mobile Data Services at StarHub Support will apply to this promotion. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between any provision of the Service Specific Terms & Conditions and any provision of the General Terms & Conditions, such conflict or inconsistency will be resolved in a manner most favourable to StarHub. However, if such conflict or inconsistency cannot be so resolved, the provisions of the Service Specific Terms & Conditions will prevail over the provisions of these General Terms & Conditions.
  12. StarHub reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions (including pricing) at its discretion without prior notice. Use of StarHub services will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and the amendments thereof.
